Welcome to our beautiful, non-smoking, waterfront home on Lake Anna in Mineral, Virginia. If you're in the mood for a relaxing vacation, unbelievable views, and the perfect place to boat, fish, swim, or entertain, we have the place for you!

Being just over 45 minutes from Richmond and 90 minutes from Washington DC, you're the perfect distance for a quick get-away so that you can spend your time relaxing (instead of traveling!). Lake Anna has the peaceful and serene atmosphere that will immediately put you at ease and make you feel a million miles away from your everyday, hectic life. This is the perfect place to melt the city stress away. Situated on beautiful Lake Anna, this five bedroom, 2 and 1/2 bath house has everything that will need for a relaxing vacation.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Please return kayaks to boat holder, this keeps them from being stolen and helps them from filling with bugs. Bring vest back into house.

We enjoyed views of the lake, sunrises and sunsets on the porch and the dock. The property is peaceful and quiet, located at the end of a court. The home is clean and open. The hosts are wonderful, communicative, and easy to work with. It is a tranquil getaway with beautiful scenery and hospitality. We look forward to our stay in the fall.

Family Get Away

We had 4 gorgeous days together as a family. The view was nice and beds comfy. All in all we had “all the comforts of home”. However, this house needs some TLC. The entrance door frames are rotted and the basement bathroom door was hard to latch closed. The furniture is worn. Kitchen cabinets/door had black fingerprints from use. Carpets are worn. The owner is great to work with and all in all, I would give this home 3 out of 5 stars.

It was way too short a stay, but this beautiful home was a perfect to unwind in. The sunsets are incredible and sunrises were also pretty with spooky fog coming off the water. Wonderful Weekend Getaway

Seven adults and one toddler thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Check-in was simple, there was great communication with the host, and the house was perfect for us. It is a large, well-appointed house, with a huge yard on a quiet cove of the lake. The house was spotless, and we had all the amenities we could need. Restaurants, grocery stores and boat rentals were suggested by our host, and all worked out well. We will definitely be back,

This is our second time staying at the property..because of the location and amenities. The vibe it’s tucked away and offers just a relaxing environment and having the boat ramp makes it easier to get our jet skis in and out. The house works for our family, as far as bedrooms and the house is kept nice and modern. Kitchen is stocked with the necessary cookware. Just like last time, it was a great time had by all and we look forward to staying there again.

Overall it was a good value. Location is great. Property is showing it’s age, however, and could use some improvements especially around the dock. One bedroom has no real privacy as it is on the way to the basement. Owners are very responsive.

An outstanding property with everything!

We were two families, 4 adults and 5 teenagers. We had two boats and two Waverunners and had an absolute blast! The property is well cared for... clean and neat. The dock is fantastic to spend a late afternoon relaxing after a day of waterplay! The house has comfortable beds, and a well equipped kitchen. We needed nothing! We will definitely look at renting this property again.

Spacious house on beautiful property

We had a wonderful family vacation. The house was clean and had plenty of open space. Beds were comfortable. Owners were very quick to reply to any questions. It’s nice to have your own boat launch and nice dock. The hill from the house to the dock is fairly long, so be prepared for a good workout. It would be nice to have a larger table on the deck so our family of 7 could all sit together for meals.

Great, large, pet friendly lake front house

Lots of room for our party of 10 plus pets and two boats. Family had a great time fishing and swimming. The kids and dogs loved the easy walk in lake front. For those concerned about the ramp, we were able to launch and load a Lund rebel 1650 xl ss and a Lund Renegade 1775 without any issues. The dock shoreline is sandy, so we beached the bows and tied to the dock. We thought ahead and brought some bee spray for the dock and play set. It was a wise decision, but one in our party got stung walking up one the small docks we did not check. Will definitely book this unit again.

Great Location

The house was as advertised. Great location on the lake. The water was clear & warm. The kids would have preferred if there were tvs in the bedrooms, but it worked out fine. The biggest inconvenience was the trash cans out the back door. Because the trash is only picked up once a week, the cans were full (but one) when we got there. The problem with that was the smell. Even after the trash was picked up, the smell was terrible. We just moved the cans away from the house for the rest of our stay, so that solved that issue. We enjoyed our stay & would stay here again!

Stunning views and great fishing

This house had the following: Easy to contact owners Great views out of huge windows Multiple decks with outdoor access Fans in every room Deep water dock and gazebo with plentiful outdoor furniture and good fishing Kayaks available for use Playground with swings and slide Clean linens, plentiful towels Working appliances Large lawn with grass cut just before we arrived The back lawn has a steep incline down to the water which might be difficult for older renters. We ran out of water one night, but there were directions about what to do if this happened. Uneven temperatures between upstairs and basement levels might be helped with sun blocking curtains or blinds Some indoor furniture could use repair or replacement Additional silverware would be helpful for 10 guests. Bring wood for use in the dockside fire pit.

Great Quiet Location with Lake Access

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the property. Check in was easy, the house was ready and had everything listed. It is close to everything Lake Anna has to offer, wineries, restaurants, grocery and the brewery. We mostly stayed at the house all week and brought our kayaks & plenty of water floats. There was only one issue during our stay. The neighbors are beekeepers and it became a nuisance during our stay. I understand the need for bees and the importance of beekeeping however this isn’t the place to keep them (with so many neighbors enjoying the outdoors). The neighbors have placed two hives of bees on the edge of their property bordering the rental and they don’t have a beach/sandy area. The bees, while not aggressive, are constantly gathering water from the sands of the rental. We had children with us; thankfully none of us are allergic to bees. Two adults got stung by accidentally stepping on them getting out of the water. It also prevented us from enjoying a meal outside, any food or liquid would immediately attract the bees. We tried putting out sugar water and regular water, this didn’t help that much. The house is well priced for the space you get so the bees alone wouldn’t prevent us from renting again as it is such a great location. I wanted to mention them incase people are bringing children who may have a bee allergy. This would have affected our decision to stay if that was the case. I did not change the 5 star rating as I don’t think there is much the owners can do. Enjoy your stay!!

Great location on the water

Had a group down to Lake Anna for the weekend, plenty of room in the house, massive back yard, right on the water that's plenty deep to pull a boat up to. Owners were very quick to respond and flexible with our requests. Would definitely come back.
