The Space:
This quintessential Malibu Beach House is located in one of the most private and sought-after guard-gated communities on the West Coast - Serra Retreat. Walking distance to Surfrider Beach, Malibu's boutique Country Mart and Whole Foods. This is an original mid-century home that has had some renovations including the kitchen, master bathroom and some guest bathrooms.
A spacious 10-person designer sofa makes the living room comfortable and inviting, together with a gas fireplace and elegant design elements. From the living space, large floor-to-ceiling doors lead to the spacious backyard.
Lush greenery surrounds this beautifully designed villa, offering fun for all ages with a playground, pickleball and basketball court, soccer goal, giant Connect Four, cornhole, 6 bicycles, and a brand new Moke included with your stay (valid license and insurance required). Enjoy expansive lawns, outdoor lounge areas, alfresco dining, a BBQ station, firepit loggia, and a massive pool and spa.
All bedrooms are on the 2nd level, thoughtfully designed for comfort, style, and convenience. Blackout shades ensure great sleep during your stay. The 3rd guest bedroom comes with a playroom/TV room and access to the balcony.
The dining room seats 8 comfortably and the open-plan family kitchen offers an additional 7 seats, which face a large smart TV and overlook the expansive grounds. The high-end Wolf appliances make cooking a gourmet family meal effortless.

This listing includes a complimentary Moke. A Moke is a registered vehicle and requires lawful usage. We require that you supply a valid drivers license, proof of insurance and are at least over the age of 18. Upon booking you will asked to sign a rental agreement with zero dollars due and a cleaning fee of $50 will be requested. This vehicle can not driven in the rain and must be garaged in the evening. If the Moke is damaged additional fees will apply.

Quiet hours are observed from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM and apply to all outdoor areas, including the pickleball court. Please keep noise to a minimum during these hours out of respect for neighboring homes.
Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the property, garage, pool, bike, giant connect four, corn hole, soccer goals (soccer ball provided), and pickleball/basketball court (basketball provided). Access to CURE Wellness and Gym is also included, conveniently located nearby (not onsite).
The Neighborhood:
Home is in an exclusive private guard gated neighborhood located near the Malibu Country Mart in Malibu California.
Getting Around:
We have a car rental division through Drive Awhile offering a range of luxury vehicles ranging from Rolls Royce Dawn to Cadillac Escalade to BMW 4 series. Ask us about complimentary airport pickup/drop-off when booking to see if you qualify.
Other Things to Note:
Please message our team before booking. Contact the Home Manager first. Mandatory additional terms may apply depending on your booking platform. In case of cancellation, the stated booking cancellation policy applies. Credit card processing fee may be required post-booking.

The pool can be heated for $100 a day, please let us know with sufficient time prior to your arrival if you would like to elect for pool heating so we can have the pool warm for you when you check-in to the property.
To maintain property and neighborhood harmony, we have important rules. Please read carefully:
1) No parties, visitors, or unapproved guests. Submit all guest names prior to booking. Guest list and Government ID may be requested from the person who booked. So, please let us know if you want to have guests and, if so, then how many. A guest is anyone who will spend any amount of time at the property. Our strict guest policy ensures neighborhood peace and legal compliance. Exceeding capacity risks our permit, we may ask you to leave.
2) No pets unless proof is provided that the pets are service pets. We, out of principle, do not allow any pets. However, due to the American Disabilities Act, we are required by law to accept service pets if a guest does in fact have a service pet.
3) No smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, or similar (outside and indoors). Our state-of-the-art smoke/vapor/gas detectors notify the fire department - $500 fee for false alarms or rule violations (paid by guest). City Code Section 41.50 B 18 b | High Brush Fire Zone | Prevent Wildfires | It’s the LAW.
4) Do not send mail to property before or after your reservation dates. If you need mail delivered before or after your stay, then we can help. You may send it to our office. Then we can take your mail to the property for you on the day of your arrival. Please note that we are not responsible for any lost or un-retrieved mail or packages.
5) Quiet hours are observed from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM and apply to all outdoor areas, including the pickleball court. Please keep noise to a minimum during these hours out of respect for neighboring homes.
6) Pool/hot tub: Never leave children unsupervised; no lifeguard on duty. No glassware; $1000 fee if glass is found. Use provided plasticware for safety. If kitchen lacks plasticware, please inform us. Please don't dispose of plasticware; wash and store them.
7) **All credit card payments are subject to a 3.55% processing fee, including additional services such as pre-stocking, mid-stay cleaning, and pool heating. The guest name must match the credit card used. International credit cards may incur an additional 1.5% fee due to exchange rate differences, bringing the total to approximately 4.7%. Bank wire payments are available upon request and must be arranged with our team prior to booking.
Pre-Stocking: Choose from our available pre-stocking options with at least one week's notice. A $95 service fee applies to all requests.
Day of Arrival:
We offer self-check-in or an in-person check-in with a tour of the home. Please let us know your preferred option. For security purposes, only the guest who made the booking may check in and will be required to present a physical ID upon arrival.
Check-In: We have a check-in window from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Early check-in is based upon availability and will need to be approved by our team. Please keep this in mind as the day of your arrival approaches. If you are arriving later than 6pm, please reach out to our team for approval.
Check Out: 10:00am. Late checkout is based upon availability and needs to be approved in advance. Our late check-out fee is $100 for every hour after 10:00am. Additionally, if you want to check-out after 12:00 pm, then you will need to pay a fee equal to one full day. Please keep this in mind as the day of your departure approaches.
We take our cleaning seriously. Every home is thoroughly deep cleaned between stays, with white hotel-style linens, white towels, premium toiletries, and fully stocked kitchens with high-end appliances. High-touch surfaces receive extra care, all linens and towels are freshly washed after every stay, and our cleaning protocols exceed CDC standards.
This property contains an exterior camera at the front door which is motion sensored and is active during guests stay.
When you are departing the property, please make sure that you do not leave anything behind. Our team is not responsible for Lost or Stolen Items. If our team finds a lost item, we will ship it back to the guest. The guest will be responsible for paying the shipping cost plus a $50 service fee.
