The house was in a fantastic location with views of both the ocean and the sound from the top level (kitchen and small front balcony). We could tell it was a well-loved home.Some beds were comfortable, others not so much. The kitchen could stand a refresh with utensils, pots and pans (all scratched up and wobbly), and coffee mugs - we were 12 people and there were 9 mugs. There appeared to be black mold around some windows and doors on the top level. Some sliding doors didn't work well and allowed bugs in (we had massive numbers of mosquitos and spiders coming in). The decks had virtually no furniture and the back top deck has a lot of boards that need replacing. We had a few issues when we arrived - a clogged sink and mid-level AC was not working. The rental company was fast to respond and got us up and running quickly. The primary issue for the AC was the outdoor unit was completely covered in vines and had to be cleared off - something to pay closer attention to in the future.For the issues the house had, it wasn't worth the cost. We've had much nicer, dog-friendly properties for less. But, the location was great.

Dear Property Manager,I am writing regarding our recent stay at your beach rental property. We chose your company because we expected a clean, safe, and well-maintained home for our vacation. Unfortunately, the property fell far below those expectations.While we understand that maintenance issues can occasionally arise, the number and severity of the problems we encountered suggest that the property was neither adequately inspected nor properly prepared before our arrival. Many of the issues were not merely inconveniences—they presented significant health and safety concerns.Safety ConcernsSeveral conditions in the home created unnecessary hazards for our family and should have been addressed before guests arrived.A THC vape was found underneath a bed.A clonazepam pill was found on a bedroom dresser.The oven door detached unexpectedly.A beach chair had an exposed nail.The screen door on a sliding glass door fell off.There was no railing on the stairwell, creating a serious fall hazard.The walkway railing leading to the beach was in poor condition.Deck railings were heavily rusted.Thorny vegetation had grown into the walkways.Two living room sliding glass doors were off their tracks and extremely difficult to open.The air conditioning initially did not work, and after repairs it produced an extremely loud buzzing noise.Three doors leading to the middle deck were taped shut and unusable, limiting access to the outdoor space.Maintenance IssuesThe propert
