Lovely stay in the middle of the nature

We really enjoyed our week summer holiday in Saint-Martin-de-Gurson. The accommodation was very clean, practical and well-equipped. The location was great for kids with all the animals, they really loved it. The host was also very friendly and helpful, and gave many great ideas for activities in the area. Definitely recommend!

The Jean-Paul was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The gites is very well equipped and, thank goodness, has excellent airconditioning. The pool is a very welcome plus but be aware that there is no shallow end but is comfortable for most adults to stand up in. We didn't use the BBQ because it was far to hot even in the evenings. The Gites is very peaceful as the nearest houses are more then 500m away and road noise is almost nonexistant.It is around 15 minutes drive to a large supermarket but there is a good boulangerie in the village. St Emilion and Bergerac are about half an hour drive away and St Foy Le Grand a bit more so there is enough around to explore.The only drawback is the access to the gites is up a set of external stairs so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who find stairs challenging. That have been said, I would certainly recommend it.

Beautiful and quiet location

Our family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed spending our holiday at this property. On the hot summer days, we cooled off in the pool and enjoyed the air conditioned gite at night. Jean-Paul's tips were terrific and included: a trip to Bordeaux (arriving by boat), attending the spectacular recreation of "La Bataille de Castilllon", and site seeing in the Dordogne valley. We also loved the opportunity to attend local events (Fête cantonale and Marché Gourmand). We recommend this property to a family who wants peace and quiet, together with the opportunity to explore a beautiful region. Thanks Jean-Paul!!

Comfortable, spacieux et au calme

Tout un étage bien comfortable rien que pour nous dans un environnement très calme avec une belle piscine et emplacement de parking couvert. Nous n'avons vraiment rien à dire de plus. Bon contact avec le propriétaire très gentil. Encore merci pour les délicieuses tomates et fruits en direct du jardin... Bon point de départ pour visiter Bergerac, Lascaux, Périgueux,... et pas mal de châteaux avec bonnes boutilleilles dans les environs.. A recommander!

Idéal pour se ressourcer

Maison avec très belle piscine, propriétaire disponible. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour au calme tout en visitant la région. Je recommande particulièrement Saint Emilion à 25 km de ce gite.
