About this property

Luxury Country Guest Suite, Sleeps 10, Hot Tub

Property is located 5 miles outside of Rexburg, Idaho in the countryside with beautiful views. Great internet access and speed. WiFi enabled as well. Yellowstone Park is 85 miles. Jackson Hole is 80 miles. Island Park is 50 miles. Grand Targhee Ski Resort is 60 miles. Kelly Canyon Ski Resort is 30 miles. Idaho Falls Regional Airport is 30 miles. St. Anthony Sand Dunes are 10 miles. BYU-Idaho campus is 7 miles.

You will need your own transportation. Public transportation is limited. Normally, there are no Ubers, no Lyfts, no taxis, and no busses. As stated in the Rental Agreement--no smoking in the facility and no smoking outside on the property.

Beautiful unique countryside 10 acre property. Luxurious, rustic, and newly constructed. Large and spacious. 10 beds with two additional cots to sleep 12 if needed. Granite counter tops, leather couches, steam shower, hot tub, 4 flat screen TV's, fireplace, parking, and paved driveway (elevator available for use upon request). Owners and family live onsite across the driveway about 100 yards from the facility.

Guests have full access to washer, dryer, microwave, fridge, oven, stove, smart tv's, and wi-fi. Plenty of parking for cars or pickups towing trailers. The Windhaven Barn's bottom floor is a garage (NOT available for guest use) and the upstairs has living quarters accessed by stairs. The elevator is available for use upon request.

In the winter, it snows in Idaho (like a lot of snow). In the summer, we farm in Idaho. Sometimes there will be cows or horses on the property next door. Sometimes there will be kids outside riding bicycles or playing basketball at the owners' house. Deer, elk, eagles, moose, swans, porcupines, and geese have all been seen on property.

We loved everything about this place. So clean and roomy. So many nice upgrades that you don't typically get in a VRBO. I loved how new everything was, so it felt clean and everything worked. We had bad weather and discovered all the trails were closed, so we ended up staying inside a lot more than planned. So glad we splurged and got a nice place. Lots of space to play outside and the grandbaby loved watching the horses from the large windows. We were all very happy and the owners were so friendly and willing to help with anything. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent place

The house exceeded our expectations - it is a barn that was finished and was clean, well-maintained, and had a country feel while being close enough to Rexburg to not be inconvenient. One bedroom and one bathroom was on the ground floor, with the rest of the bedrooms and bathrooms and living space on the second floor. We loved the open concept of the living space making it easy to all be together. The master bedroom was fantastic with access to two bathrooms. The hot tub was clean and quite relaxing, even during the winter. The communication was very good and prompt. The check out procedures were some of the easiest we’ve ever experienced. We would definitely stay here again.

Home away from home

This rental was so cozy! Everything was so clean and well kept. Probably the most “stocked” rental we’ve stayed in as far as kitchen supplies. Check in process was a breeze and plenty of parking for our car and trailer/Rzr. About a 15 minute drive to the dunes where our friends were staying. Our favorite was the hot tub on the patio and the beautiful green views! We will be back if we’re ever in the area again.

Simply Amazing!!!!

We were looking for a property that was in between Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks—-and Shane and Joanna’s property was perfect for our family. The property is a beautiful new construction and Shane and Joanna have thought of everything when it comes to outfitting the home with regard to household appliances, cookware, and other essentials. Another huge perk was having a Wal-Mart Supercenter within 5 minutes of the property. If you are looking for a place between the 2 national Parks I would highly recommend Windhaven!
