This is a lovely property, one of the older buildings and appropriately decorated and maintained. It is well situated for the beach and other amenities in the area. The accommodation is clean and comfortable.

Wonderful little cottage to stay, a character filled cosy haven to relax and enjoy the ambience so skillfully presented by the lovely host Susan. Private little sun filled garden/court yard with a selections of ferns, flowers and herbs. Such a special place, close/walking distance to everything, trains, beach, river walks, shops and cafe.I stayed 2 nights and Susan made me feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Linen and towels first class.The kitchen was well equiped with added extras, a full litre of milk, coffee/tea etc. and a welcome platter of cheese, fruit and biscuits and bottled water. The heater was turned on for me prior to my early evening arrival and a glorious vase of flowers in the kitchen to welcome me.I couldn't fault it, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit for a solo traveller or couple.I travelled from East Gippsland, am looking forward to the next excuse to return and hope this little gem is available then.

The best cottage stay in Melbourne

This is a beautiful place to stay. We visit Melbourne quite often and it is just down the road from my son and his wife. It's comfortable, clean and so welcoming.
