Not this place unless you like mildew
Upon arrival and walking in the house it smelled like mildew. Carpet had big stains in living room and hallway. 1st bathroom had strong mildew odor. Toilet had sanitation paper on where it had been cleaned but when I broke the seal and lifted the toilet seat top it was mold and mildew around. Thus the smell in the house. It wasn't cleaned with anything other than water. I cleaned it up with lysol spray and wipes which I brought with me. Crazy thing was there was food left in the refrigerator that was Thanksgiving dinner to be served the next day. I stayed at house instead of going out to dinner because I knew someone was coming to get the food and I had my dog. Didn't want people coming in on her. Thanksgiving day at 1120 am there was a knock on the door. I was sitting on the couch 10ft from door. Before I could open the door a lady opened it with a key and asked me who I was i told I was renting the place. She asked if she could get the food i said yes. She came in with 7 or more people. One was barefoot and got the food. I sprayed the house with lysol. We never unpacked. We left Friday morning
Instead of Saturday. Didn't feel comfortable. Back screen door lock broken and the curtain was half a curtain and kind of ragged. The remotes didn't work with some tvs wouldn't turn tv off. I will be talking to holiday about some kind of compensation. I saw bad reviews on this house but they were 1 or 2 yrs old figured stuff was fixed by now. Don't consider this place unless you are desperate. Ruined my Thanksgiving
