Amazing location. Walking distance to central Shinjuku (Kabukicho, Golden Gai, etc). Property is a good size for Japan. Great value for the price. Very happy with our stay!

This was our second time staying at this property and we couldn’t be happier with it. Fantastic location with minutes walk to the JR Shin-Okubo station. Walking distance to tons of great restaurants and shops. We will absolutely be staying here again on our next trip to Tokyo!

This place was great. We had five staying here with a sixth joining the last night. The location is fantastic and very walkable even late at night. Close to multiple 7-11s and Don Q. Close to the Yamanote line as well. Would stay here again!

This place has a sitting area which was really nice. It’s close to the train station which makes it great to walk to and fro. We didn’t find a lot to do right around where we were staying but like I said; train access was a 5ish minute walk

Clean and Excellent Location

Our stay for a party of 9 was comfortable and the property well kept. What attracted us to this location was the communal space that for a large party, couldn't be found in a hotel. Host is great. Instructions are clearly detailed and a booklet is put together to show how to operate different aspects of the appliances.

A bit dingy

Check in was easy and the host way very responsive. However, this property was quite dingy and not very clean. There were cockroaches and beds/rooms not very comfortable. Not terrible but all in all, not the best stay. Wouldn’t recommend.

Host is kind, location in pictures and the higher price present as a high quality accommodation and we booked for three nights. Well, the neighborhood is basically a small commercial district, it’s like a house shouldn’t even be there. Despite the pictures, the entrance had weeds and piles of trash from the nearby businesses directly across from the front door, can’t see in the pictures. The place looks very well lived in, like it hasn’t had a deep clean or a refresh since the 1990’s. The paint, carpet, towels, pillow cases and bedding are very dated and stained. Mold in the shower window. There are signs all over the walls telling people to be quiet or will get fined. We tried to see if it could work for us, it didn’t at all and we promptly checked out the same day and booked somewhere else in a similar area, that is smaller with a little higher cost and it was way, way better. We requested a refund for the unused nights and were told since it was booked through a third party, the host and VRBO do not have access to the funds to refund me. It was 1,300 for 3 nights, this house is closer to a 50-60 a night place. VRBO really let us down on this booking and only provided a miserly 250 in compensation.
