Fox Hunting, Crappie Fishing Getaway

My place is close to Grenada Lake Reservoir with great Crappie, Bass and Catfish fishing, Fox Hunters' Kennels and other hunting areas. You’ll love my place because of the outdoor space, Amish built 2016 cabin with loft bedroom and screened porch, large back deck. Covered shed for grilling and fish cooking and just relaxing. Located on an Oak trees shady lot good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), hunters and fishermen. One bedroom with full size bed - sleeps 2. Loft bedroom has full size bed and a twin size daybed - sleeps 3. In open cabin area full size Futon with twin bed above (bunk style) sleeps 3. Full kitchen, stand alone ice maker, Big screen TV, etc. Large deck with LED lighting, picnic table. A fish cooker, charcoal and gas grill at the grilling shed. Fish cleaning station and circle driveway (good for boat owners)and garage big enough for a pontoon boat. Year round full access with paved roads, no internet service. No underage drinking, smoking indoors, lighting of candles indoors, and unregistered guests. A quiet residential area so we ask that excessive noise be kept to a minimum. E-mail and text questions/problems. Great first name neighbors who are friendly and thoughtful of the neighborhood. Beer and alcohol is legal in this county (Yalobusha) as well as neighboring Grenada County. Cabin has circle drive connecting 2 paved county roads (corner lot) for auto/ 4 wheeler parking. A jewel in the backwoods.

Davy was great to work with. The property was clean and well organized. Perfect for fisherman. The cleaning station is a big plus. I would highly recommend this property. Hope to make it a yearly visit.

Great cabin

My friends and I spent a long weekend here last week. The cabin was great, Davey was great to work with. Sent lots of very informative information before our trip, a map how to get there with a bridge out And let us check in early! Even though they had 10” of rain and the fishing wasn’t very good while we were there, we still had a very relaxing weekend.

Fishing trip

The inside of the rental was very clean and the amenities provided were perfect. Plenty of fresh towels and comfortable beds. The only reason for me not giving a 5 star for cleanliness is that the porch and back deck could have used a serious pressure washing as well as the carport having a big hole in it making me nervous to put my boat under it. Overall a great place for the money.

Family Trip

We loved staying at this cabin. We wanted to stay somewhere were we didn’t have to worry about our boat and fishing equipment. (We decided to leave the boat at home and get a charter fishing trip.) They have a fully stocked cabin just Incase you forget something at home. They also have an ice machine which came in really handy when we needed to ice down our fish. Looking forward to staying here again.

Fishing stay

House had everything plus extras needed for our fishing trip. The covered place was great to keep our boat under out of the weather and having electricity out there to charge our boat. This place is in a very remote area. We planned on fishing Grenada Lake but the fishing was not good so we fished Enid and Sardis. With the bridge out on the NE end made our daily travels long. Still a great place to stay.

Nice cabin bad fishing.

The cabin was clean and had everything that was needed for our stay. The manager answered our text every time we needed a question answered in a timely manner after we arrived. It would have been nice to have had a map that had all of the boat launching places shown. There are a few things at the cabin that need attention… 1 a bathroom door that sticks and makes a very loud noise when pulling it open. (No secret trips to toilet in the middle of the night). The outside was rustic and matched its surroundings. The fire pit was nice and we used it one night. The outside speakers allowed us to listen to a ballgame. Our main reason for coming to the cabin was to have a place to sleep and shower after fishing all day. It did provide that for all 4 of us. We caught no fish on the famous Granada Lake and we went one day with an expensive fishing guide. Went in out in our own boat the other days and caught only 4 fish .

I want a place like this

We rented this property as a place to meet up for Thanksgiving with our son who goes to Mississippi State, so that we could also go to the Ole Miss game on Thanksgiving day. I’m probably going to rent this place in the spring to come back and go fishing. This is definitely a fisherman’s paradise type of property. Unfortunately, for us, the weather didn’t let us take advantage of some of the things like the fire pit outback, and the big deck. Very comfortable, very nice cabin. The fish cleaning station outback, and the extra freezer show you who rents this place the most! Really enjoyed our stay

Another great trip

The property is in a great location and it is stocked with just about everything you would need. The washer and dryer is a definite plus. Will definitely stay again, but bathroom door needs to be fixed so it closes completely. Better TV Reception would also be a plus, but overall it is awesome!!!!
