This peaceful location will have you relaxing and unwinding in no time. This is a true rustic cabin experience approximately 1 mile from George Cossar State Park. This is great for hunting, fishing or just relaxing with family. The park offers a playground, a putt putt golf course, and a disc golf course.

The cabin has 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and 1.5 baths. The exterior has a 3 sided wrap around porch, 30x40 enclosed garage, and fish cleaning station.

PLEASE DO NOT BURN WOOD INSIDE the cabin (we are in the process of having Natural gas lines placed and should have a gas insert soon)
Gas grills and charcoal grills are available for use. Turn gas OFF on the GRILL and the BOTTLE after use (Turn knob on the bottle to the RIGHT)
No LOUD voices, arguing, or vulgar language, obnoxious loud music or DRUGS! We are a retirement community, neighborhood quiet time begins @ 10 pm

Fisherman’s dream

Everything you want for a great fishing trip. Close to the three lakes. Parking great for truck and trailer. Great place to relax in the evening after all day on lake. Cabin is outstanding

Never saw a person, only stray dogs, one nice, one growling

May be a retirement community, but they like to Jamand barking dog. Yes music was turned down at 10:00pm from 10 to 9.9. Played till the AM. Very nice cabin though, convenient to lake.

Fit our needs

Traveled back to the area to bury my mom in family cemetery. This gave us a place to get all the family together for the afternoon. Overall it was relaxing and quiet but at times it was really noisy with loud music and barking dogs. Fortunately these didn't last too long. Suggestions for host: need to replace worn out towels and provide more towels.

Really could do something with all three of the grills on the property as none were usable, I had to go and purchase one for use during the trip. Back porch was a disaster .. we spend a majoriy of our time outdoors when we come over that way so.. inside was doable .

Actual Piece of Heaven

Our trip was heavenly! The cabin was beautiful and so was the property. Every person we met or spoke with was very friendly and accommodating. All of our basic needs were met and then some. We cannot wait to come back for another stay! We have been planning it since we left!

Almost Perfect!

The location of this comfortable house and property were lovely, and right near a beautiful state park. Unfortunately when we arrived the beds were un-made and there were crumbs in the refrigerator. Also there were wet towels in the washer, showing that the previous occupants had put the towels in before they left, but nobody had come to finish up. It was difficult to get in contact with the manager of the house, which was frustrating. When contact was made however she immediately apologized for the cleaning issues, saying that the cleaners had failed to show up and offered an immediate refund for one night’s stay. I appreciated the immediate refund and ultimately we had a lovely time.

Lake Cabin Stay

The rental was just as advertised. Very clean and organized. Location instructions were right on the money. Easy to find. My guest were unable to join me due to unforeseen circumstances. But we'll return again next year.
