We recently booked this property through Vrbo, and the entire experience was fantastic. The property itself was exactly as advertised: clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. We truly enjoyed the outdoor amenities (airstream kitchen) and water front relaxation. We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend!!

Our group loved this place! The house is amazing, comfortable beds, rooms and bathrooms are very spacious! Large property with lots of privacy and the creek was fabulous, and also very private! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Hill country family vacation- Watercolor House

It is well maintained and plenty of amenities- paddle boats, floating dock, “party barn”. Lots of games and fun activities. House was very clean, plenty of beds, and the owners were so thoughtful to leave all the “fixins” for s’mores!! Property manager was very attentive to any questions. We definitely will return for another visit!!

What a treat!

So much attention has been paid to make this wonderful property the perfect vacation spot. The home is beautifully decorated, the beds are plush, you can relax down by the water or bond over games in the “barn”. Opportunities for fun are all around, from shuffleboard to giant chess to board games to paddle boats. We appreciated all of the extra touches (e.g. ice cream maker & popcorn machine!) and will cherish our time together at the Watercolor House - as much a destination as a place to stay. Heartily recommend -

Wonderful Gathering Place

Watercolor House was perfect for my family’s 4-day stay with both grandparents and college-age kids. The property was absolutely beautiful, but the amenities put it over the top. I’ve stayed at a lot of rental properties over the years, but this was the first with a vitamix! Really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the house too, like the well-spaced night lights that made it easy to see if you were up in the night, and the plethora of both indoor and outdoor towels and washer/dryer area, which made it easy to keep my daughter with OCD happy with fresh towels throughout our stay. 7 of us were extremely comfortable with everyone having their own space, but we’re excited to return if we’re lucky enough one day to have four generations together and little ones in tow. Made a lot of happy memories in our stay.
