beautiful view and pool
We greatly enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful location. We enjoyed eat at resort closest to the little house. The house is in need of some repairs but is functionable. Kelera and Knox are great!

Privacy in Paradise
Beautiful place to stay! We appreciated the privacy very much. It was calm and peaceful which is what we were looking forward. It was further from most restaurants which was difficult. Nakia Resort, which is just a short walk up the hill, was our go to place for their restaurant but it unfortunately closed for two weeks during our stay. Loved the food and staff there though! We went diving at the dive shop down the hill which I highly recommend! The cost of taxi with Knox was unfortunately very pricy so we did have to be mindful with this. Overall, it was a good first experience in Tave Uni!

We expected to enjoy Taveuni and our stay at Lomani but had no idea how unforgettable an experience it would be. Located on top of a hilltop overlooking the ocean and surrounded by beautiful grounds filled will fruit trees, Lomani is an absolutely stunning and serene place to stay while visiting the "garden island" of Fiji. Leading up to and throughout our stay, Saskia was in touch to ensure that everything ran smoothly and with lots of helpful suggestions around activities that would allow us to make the most of our visit. Knox welcomed us at Matei airport upon our arrival and he and Kelera were amazing hosts who played a huge part in making our Lomani/Taveuni experience so special. Visting for only two nights, we spent one day doing the Lavena Coastal Walk and visiting the beautiful waterfalls of Bouma National Heritage Park. We spent the rest of our time relaxing in the infinity pool, enjoying the beautiful views from the porch hammocks, and enjoying amazing food at nearby restaurants ( an amazing floating breakfast from Kelera!). We are very fortunate to have visited many places around the world, but can confidently say that in only a short time Lomani became far and away our favorite. Our only regret is that we didn't stay for longer and we can't wait for our next visit.

Unique and wonderful experience!
Our stay was everything we could have imagined and more! Lomani is perfect for those looking for a more inclusive and immersive experience over a typical resort. The property is very private and very quiet, allowing for a deeply relaxing visit. Saskia and the property managers, Knox and Kelera, were so attentive and genuinely wonderful that it really took our overall experience to the next level. Massages, kayaking, hiking, and harvesting fruits and herbs on the property! With some help from Knox and Kelera, we had the best fishing experience too! Seeing the dolphins race the boat and our special local fishing captain giving us fantastic pointers to ensure our success at reef fishing. We had many dinners from our own fresh catch! This really is a magical place because of both property and staff. I feel that it will be tough to find anything else quite like it. We sincerely thank Knox, Kelera, and Saskia for sharing it with us. Until next time!!

Bula!
We discovered this piece of paradise whilst on our honeymoon in 2006. We enjoyed a few days at Anthony Robbins Resort ‘Namale’ on Vanua Levu (the island seen across the Somosomo Straits from Lomani). We then travelled to Taveuni to enjoy a private luxury house in contrast to a resort.
It was here that we discovered the opportunity to create Lomani.
Lomani is not a resort.
Lomani is a private house offering total privacy in a very romantic setting with all the comforts of home and more.
Lomani is your home away from home offering you the choice of rest and tranquillity, adventure and sport, entertainment and a very unique South Pacific cultural experience
Our dream was created with you in mind.
You will find Lomani truly is a unique romantic paradise.
We hope you enjoy an enchanting and memorable stay at Lomani.

Why they chose this property

Lomani is a very special home. Total privacy, unique and was recently named by Trip Advisor to have the Top 10 infinity pool in the world!

What makes this property unique

On a typical day at Lomani we awake not long after dawn, woken by the rays of morning sunlight and the sound of singing birds and swaying palms. We look out over the clear blue water from our four poster king size bed and consider our plans for the day ahead.
The first decision to be made is who tours the gardens to pick fruit for a morning juice and fruit platter for breakfast.
Eventually the excitement of the day ahead tempts us from our bed but only as far as the pool for a refreshing swim. We look over the infinity edges of the pool out across the Somosomo Straits hoping to sight dolphins frolicking or schools of fish as we consider the day ahead.
