We had a great time staying at the cabin. I love the peace and quiet of the cabin and the views at sunset were great. The owner was so accommodating and helpful. The owner defiantly went above and beyond for us.
While the drive was longer than we expected, we found lots to do and enjoy for all ages. There was so much to do, we didn’t get to it all in this trip!
This was the first time we stayed more out of town and we really enjoyed it. The kids loved the pool table, us adults loved the hot tub, and we all loved that the house was split up enough where we all had our own space, but still came together for meals. The owners were extremely kind, and made sure to come over and offer help the moment we were settled in. We had planned on taking a boat and had some last minute issues, but we still appreciated the thought of docking for future use.
overall a nice place to stay the house was clean and nice the only complaints we had was that it says there’s a boat ramp but doesn’t say the boat ramp is a few miles away and there’s no where to park you’re truck and trailer at the boat ramp it’s just a ramp and the house doesn’t have a dock or way to access the boat if you drive the boat from a ramp near by that would have been good information to know a head of time because it’s hard to use a boat if you have nowhere to park your truck while you have the boat in the water
This was out where we stayed for our half way point to Florida and it was great! A little away from town due to being in the mountains, but it was beautiful! Would definitely stay here again! We were even able to meet the owners at one point and they are super nice!
If you are looking for a cabin on Douglas lake and sort of away from everyone this is a great pick! We had a wonderful time and the owners were amazing and very helpful! 100% recommend this cabin!
We all had a great time. The house was very clean and very comfortable. All 3 floors stayed nice and cool, the beds were very soft and cozy, and we had pleanty of hot water. The owners were very nice and helpful. If we are ever in this area again, this property is where we will stay. Thanks
Overall nice cabin. Owners live nearby and are easily. Drive can be quite frightening.
Nice cabin stay for small family. Priced right. Drive can be quite stressful. Will spend plenty of time driving to activities if not staying in summer and taking advantage of lake. If snow is on road buckle up!!!
The cabin was located at the lake, but no one mentioned the lake was down 50 ft for winter pool and you had to walk on other property to go fishing. The kids enjoyed playing pool while my husband and I enjoyed the hottub on the back deck. The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. The only reason I rated it 4 out of 5 was because of the carpet. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Bugs, filters need to be cleaned, bathroom dirty
There were ants and roaches in the kitchen even after we went and cleaned everything up. The filter for the hot tub was black. The bathroom was dirty grime on the wall.
