About this property
Designer loft home at the edge of the Cradle of Humankind
Graded 4 stars by the South African Tourism Board and featured in South African decor magazines and on television, this creative space offers modern luxury with quirky touches.
Views are breath-taking, with African sunsets that will have you weeping in your gin & tonic. Blesbuck and springbuck roam the neighbouring farm and the distant hills of the Magaliesberg are ever-present, yet never quite the same as the light changes throughout the day.
2 bedrooms upstairs both have their own bathroom/shower. The enormous ground floor offers a chef’s kitchen complete with Nespresso machine and Kitchenaid mixer, opening onto an enormous wraparound veranda. 30% of the downstairs living area closes off with industrial doors to create another full suite with bath and shower, its own balcony, etc. The remaining living area boats a large slow-burning wood fireplace and a library of books. A study area upstairs with desk and (once again) spectular views, make it the perfect place to do some work or write a book. Original South African art and Persian carpets complete the picture.
A 12 metre lap pool and beautiful indigenous garden will help you make the most of balmy Highveld weather. The house is situated in a 24-hour Security Estate and is let with a daily cleaning service and free Wifi.

About the host
Hosted by Zelda Bezuidenhout

Our small family (Izak, Zelda and 15 year old Mia) lived in The Warehouse before Izak moved his neurosurgery practice to another province. We designed the house ourselves, to have the look of a reclaimed factory loft. It was very hard to leave it and we definitely did not want to sell it. So we decided to let it for short-term stays.
