Welcome to Amazing Acorn — we look forward to hosting your home away from home where you can enjoy nature’s best, right in your backyard. Experience the serenity of Bolton Landing and enjoy a week of kayaking in the tranquil water, hiking the nearby trails, or revving up the jet skis, just minutes from our property.

Perfect for families, this home features a spacious floor plan including a fully equipped kitchen and furnished patio for gatherings. Whether you’re keen on an action-packed adventure or a relaxing getaway, we offer everything you need for the trip of a lifetime.

Our home is two floors with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and about 1,525 square feet of living space. It is perfect for one or two families and sleeps 8-10 comfortably in beds. Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. Amazing Acorn is fully equipped, and cabinets are completely stocked so you can just pack your bags and visit. We have a large Smart TV in the family room, super reliable Wi-Fi powered by 200M High Speed Internet, home phone and cable TV services all protected by an automatic 22kw Generac generator. We provide sheets, blankets, bath towels, new bar of DOVE soap in each shower, washer, dryer, laundry detergent, Weber 4-burner gas grill on our paver patio, dishes, pots, pans, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, garbage bags, chopped firewood, traditional coffee maker and Keurig, extra Air Mattress, dish and hand soap. We even have items you might have forgotten such as spices, hand sanitizer, beach towels/chairs, condiments, pump for inflatables, life vests, snow sleds, etc. We can’t forget to mention our games and sport equipment such as “Kan Jam”, Corn hole, bocce ball, volleyball, small kids slide in the bunk bedroom, wiffleball, paddleball, badminton and 3 kayaks with paddles.

Awesome property!

We stayed at Amazing Acorn for a few days while visiting the area for a wedding. The property is extremely clean, well stocked and great location to nearby attractions at Lake George. Our family loved it and Shawn was very helpful. We hope to stay again.

Perfect Getaway

Amazing Acorn was the perfect getaway for our family of 4. My 11 and 13 year olds loved all of the outdoor games that were made available, swimming in the lake and making s’mores over the fire pit. I couldn’t have asked for a better place for us all the unplug from our devices and just spend quality time. Really appreciate how responsive the host was and the information provided prior to check in that day. 10/10 absolutely recommend and look forward to when we can make it back up there.

Amazing!

My husband and I came up to the amazing acorn with our dogs for a mini honeymoon. The property and house were absolutely beautiful, immaculate, and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. Our host was very kind, responsive, and professional… they even left us a bottle of wine to celebrate! We loved the location too, it was so close to everything in a beautiful semiprivate lake community. We will absolutely be coming back to stay in the future, we didn’t want to leave!

Excellent stay at Amazing Acorn. We went 3 nights, skied at Gore a few days and went into lake George for dinner. Easy check in with code, owner responds quickly to text. Very clean. Stocked with everything, including ice cold glasses in the fridge! Soap, towels, sheets, games, toys, kitchen items - everything was well taken care of. Nice property!

We stayed with our family. The house was in a private location. Check in and out were easy. The host even sent us instructions to make it even more of a smooth process. House was clean and fully stocked. There was a lake down the street with its own little beach. We spent a whole day there with the kayaks offered by the Shawn, the host! An amazing winter wonderland getaway!

We had an amazing stay at Shawn's beautiful home. 3 solids days of skiing at Gore Mountain for the teenagers and 3 full days of show-shoeing for the aunts and myself. Shawn's house was fully stocked - great kitchen and comfy beds. We made fires every night in their fireplace and played lots of games. Our dog loved exploring around the property as well. Shawn was extremely prompt with all correspondence - we even had a heating debacle that got resolved immediately. We were so happy to get away and enjoy this wonderful home!

Awesome house near Lake George

We absolutely loved the house. It's in a great location (right off a lake in a quiet forest), very roomy and well appointed. Plenty of space for 9 people in our party (4 adults and 5 kids). Everything was great - from amazing firepace and plenty of firewood, great TV and kitchen with grill, down to many kids games. We really enjoyed ourselves and will highly recommend it. A+

Our family has deep roots in the Lake George area. My grandfather built a cabin here in the 1960s, and I’ve been coming up to Lake George for nearly 50 years. This area has always been a special place for our family, and we’re proud to share it with our guests.

We take great pride in providing a home that is meticulously clean, well maintained, and fully stocked so you can arrive and immediately relax. We chose this property for its privacy, peaceful setting, and access to Trout Lake, and we hope guests enjoy it as much as we do.

We’re very responsive and always happy to help with questions, local recommendations, or anything you may need during your stay. Our goal is simple: to provide a comfortable, relaxing retreat where guests feel at home and want to return year after year.

We chose this neighborhood because it offers the best of both worlds. The property is exceptionally private and peaceful, surrounded by nature, yet just minutes from downtown Bolton Landing with its restaurants, shops, marinas, and Lake George attractions.

Another major reason was the proximity to Trout Lake. Having deeded lake access within a short walk, along with the ability to drive and park near the beach, makes enjoying the water incredibly easy and convenient.

This area allows guests to truly disconnect and relax while still being close to everything that makes Lake George such a special destination.
