Rose Room of the Blake House romantic couples getaway near Asheville w/free Biltmore pass

PLEASE NOTE: We do not serve breakfast. The Rose Room is a romantic couples getaway located in South Asheville just minutes to downtown, and convenient to attractions like Sierra Nevada, Twelve Bones South and Jake Rusher Park. South Asheville is quickly becoming a "must see" destination in its own right, and we are right in the middle of it. FREE activities including Biltmore, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park, Snow Tubing and Axe Throwing.

When we first discovered that the historic Blake House was for sale, we thought that living here was just a dream. But our dream has come true and we are excited to be sharing it with guests.

Welcome to the Rose Room, located in the main house. It is absolutely delightful with its twelve foot ceilings, its cozy atmosphere and its private entry. It is the perfect couples getaway. We have spent a great deal of time and effort to make it perfect, and we really love the result. We think you will too.

We are close to the Biltmore House, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the NC Arboretum, Pisgah National Forest and the Folk Art Center. We are convenient to the airport. The nearby towns of Hendersonville and Brevard are both about a 30 minute drive, making them great destinations for a day trip.

Our family lives in the main house, so please be aware that the front porch area is our family space and not accessible to guests. We invite you to enjoy the patio area and to walk around and enjoy the grounds.

The couple that owns this is very welcoming and friendly. It’s a cute and quaint little spot for a getaway. It was my husbands and I 2nd anniversary. This was our first anniversary trip away together and I’m glad we started our traditional anniversary trip here.

The place was so charming, it was like stepping back in time but with modern conveniences that blended well to the historical theme. The location was perfect- a short drive either to downtown Asheville or to the BRP for hiking. We had a very enjoyable and much needed getaway!

My husband and I had a lovely getaway at the Blake House Rose room! The room was so inviting and warmly decorated. It was a straight shot to downtown Asheville which made it convenient for visiting Biltmore and exploring the area. We will definitely be back!

The Rose room was absolutely lovely and beautifully decorated! Our hosts, Stephanie and Ryan were so welcoming and shared many of the great local areas to visit and dine. We loved staying at the Rose Room. The room is simply beautiful. Antique furniture, high ceilings, wood floors, dark paneling. Gorgeous. The bed was comfortable, and the room was both cozy and roomy. Beautiful bathroom. We loved the location - gorgeous trees and close to everything. We asked one question of the property manager and it was answered very quickly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and I have already recommended it to family members. We absolutely loved it!!!

Couple Get Away!

We had a great time in the Rose Room. It was the perfect get away for my fiancé and I. The room feels very homey and big. The bathtub is HUGE and super nice. We loved the outdoor space to play cards and have a nightcap. Overall 10/10 experience.Our only complaint was if you used the dishes you had to clean them in the bathroom sink, but not a big deal.

Quiet and well appointed

We enjoyed our stay at the Rose Room. It's in a quiet location but accessible to everything in Asheville. The room itself is really beautiful. Communication with property manager was easy and helpful. Would stay here again!

This property was beautiful. The perfect blend of antiquity and the "needs" of modern times. The host thought of everything that guests may need. This room is located not far from downtown Asheville and is a quick, easy commute . Communication with the host was clear and quick.
