Summary:
'The Stables' is a unique and comfortable light filled home, with a loft style bedroom and private rear garden.
It's cosy in winter with a lovely fireplace, and reverse cycle air conditioning allows climate control year round.
The University is just minutes away, the Sandy Bay shopping district is just a 15 minute stroll. Salamanca and the city are just 3km away, the Casino 2km.
With WIFI, laundry facilities and free off street parking, you'll have everything you need.

The Space:
The house has an open feel and has been thoughtfully and tastefully decorated so that is feels like a real home away from home. The house is in an elevated position that provides views down to the Derwent River and surrounding tree lined streets of Sandy Bay.There's a private garden courtyard area with table and chairs for you to sit and enjoy your morning coffee.
A friendly space, great for a few days or a few weeks.

Guest Access:
Guests have full use of the house for the duration of their stay.

The Neighborhood:
A friendly and safe neighbourhood with the University of Tasmania, Sandy Bay shopping district with 2 major supermarkets, and the city just moments away. The Sandy Bay shopping district has many great coffee shops and eateries, and a little further you'll find Battery Point and Salamanca.

Getting Around:
It's handy to have a vehicle if you are exploring Hobart and surrounds, but if you're just visiting for a few days, the home is conveniently located enabling you to use public transport. There are plenty of buses that travel from the University to the City Centre

Other Things to Note:
Please be sure to park in the correct off street parking space adjacent to the house, indicated with signage.
The sofa bed is located in the bedroom. Timber for the wood burner is provided for in Winter only.
If you require a porta cot this is available on request at the time of booking

Bright cosy place with views
It has all that's needed in the kitchen and I love that it's bright even on a dull day. The plants are a nice touch, though I would have preferred rugs to the current floor coverings. Close to everything, especially Mt Nelson, which was great to visit after all the rain. We would happily stay again :)
