Our rentals include up to $295 worth of access per day to attractions including the Biltmore Estate, French Broad Rock Wall, French Broad Zipline, French Broad Whitewater, Launch Trampoline Park, and Timber Axe Throwing. Nov-Feb we provide a free lift ticket to Wolf Ridge Ski Resort and a snow tubing session. Book helicopter tours, e-bikes, wellness tours, hiking and more through our Activity Concierge.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not serve breakfast. Located in South Asheville just minutes to downtown, and convenient to attractions like Sierra Nevada, Twelve Bones South and Jake Rusher Park. South Asheville is quickly becoming a "must see" destination in its own right, and we are right in the middle of it.

When we first discovered that the historic Blake House was for sale, we thought that living here was just a dream. But our dream has come true and we are excited to be sharing it with guests.

Welcome to the Carriage House, located on the upstairs level of the carriage house behind the main house. Please note there is a staircase. The bathroom is accessible only through the master bedroom so please be aware of this before booking. It is beautiful, sunny, comfy and delightful. We have spent a great deal of time and effort to make it perfect, and we hope you will love it as much as we do.

We are close to the Biltmore House, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the NC Arboretum, Pisgah National Forest and the Folk Art Center. We are convenient to the airport. The nearby towns of Hendersonville and Brevard are both about a 30 minute drive, making them great destinations for a day trip.

Our family lives in the main house, so please be aware that the front porch area is our family space and not accessible to guests. We invite you to enjoy the patio area and to walk around and enjoy the grounds. We hope you enjoy your stay, and we look forward to hosting your visit!

I’m hesitant to write this review because I want to keep this place to myself. It was wonderful. You could just bring your clothes and make yourself at home. Fully stocked kitchen and living combo with two bedrooms and an entry way. It was very clean and owners are very friendly. I would definitely recommend.

Awesome!

Amazing deal, everything was as described and very comfortable sofa and beds. Owners were very responsive and answered all our questions promptly! It’s also very convenient to downtown Asheville. 5 stars!!

Hidden gem

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third stay at the historical Blake Carriage House. It was clean, comfortable and convenient to Biltmore, the River Arts District and downtown Asheville. Also, it is very close to our favorite breakfast spot, Biscuit Head. As noted in the description, the bathroom can only be accessed through the bedroom. This was not a problem for us, but might be problematic for others. Communication and instructions were good. Will recommend to friends and hope to stay there again in the future.
