Welcome to Tiny Nanook by Tiny Away, a peaceful tiny house in Kanimbla Valley, just 2 hours from Sydney. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Blue Mountains, watch kangaroos hopping on your deck, and spot wombats, echidnas, and possums in their natural habitat.

The Space:
Marsden Rock and a neighboring vineyard. It is one of the Blue Mountains’ closest holiday homes, just 2 hours from Sydney, and features soaring sandstone ridges covered in native bushland, scenic views, and bushwalking trails. Nearby attractions include Jenolan Caves, Mayfield Gardens, and Mt Victoria.
This cozy 170-square-foot tiny home features a lofted double-sized bed and a couch on the ground floor. It has easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, portable cooker, cutlery, dishes, glasses, microwave, a 92L fridge and excellent bathroom facilities including a compost toilet, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.
SAFETY NOTICE: The tiny home features stairs that provide easy access to the loft; however, guests are advised to use extra care when going up and down.
Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny home and its surroundings, except for the host’s private residence (by invitation only). The property is not fenced, so please close gates when entering or leaving the private residence. Parking is available in the designated area near the tiny house.

Tiny Nanook by Tiny Away is in Kanimbla Valley, just 2 hours from Sydney. Nearby attractions include the limestone Jenolan Caves, swimming at Cox’s River, and Mayfield Garden near Oberon. Across the road is the charming Tiny Chapel, and the historic Hartley Courthouse and village offers a glimpse of local history.
You can also explore the scenic Wolgan and Capertee Valleys, enjoy bushwalks at Mt Victoria, Blackheath, and Hampton State Forest, or drive to Mudgee or the Megalong Valley for wine tasting and local treats.
Getting Around:
The property is 136km from Sydney 2.5 hours drive by car.
The nearest shopping town is Lithgow which is 26km approximately 30 mins drive.
There is no public transport to the property.

- You may bring your own firewood
- Firewood will be supplied once per stay
- Mobile reception is okay for both Telstra and Optus
- Additional firewood can be purchased at an extra cost $20 a bag
- No smoking allowed and unregistered guests or visitors on the property
- We have a pet dog on site, kept in a fenced area around the main house.
- We would like to advise guests that later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Outdoor fire pit is available to use except when there is a total fire ban in place or high winds
- The BBQ is available on request. Please contact the host at least 24 hours before arrival to ensure it is ready for your stay.

- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- The tiny house is near other homes, so you may occasionally hear neighbors or motorbikes.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the compost toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
