We had a great first experience in OBX - this unit is centrally located between resort and restaurant shopping area. We recommend bikes — the paths are amazing, safe and secure Went to fish market everyday for fresh steamed seafood the resort use really topped it off - back again next year for sure
Easy Sound and Ocean Access by walking, bike and/or trolley

The property contact was very responsive and helpful. We did run into several issues regarding our stay. Which made things a bit stressful.

Hi Samantha, thanks for taking the time to review your stay. After reading your feedback, the homeowner wanted to share the following:
We understand that encountering issues during your stay can be stressful, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced.
The thermostat was set by previous guests, and once adjusted, it cooled effectively. The ceiling fan noise was not reported beforehand, but our property manager promptly balanced it upon notification, and it seems to be fine now. We addressed the issue with the plug in the second bedroom and replaced it as soon as possible. The toilet was thoroughly checked by a plumber, and although no issues were found, we replaced it to ensure no further problems.
We made every effort to minimize disruption to your schedule by coordinating repairs when you were not at the property. We appreciate your feedback and have taken steps to ensure everything is in proper working order.
Thank you for your review, and we hope you visit us again soon!

Perfect Week !
Loved the community amenities and the convenience of location. Use of the trolley to get to pool and beach was an unexpected pleasure- the drivers were fun to talk to as well. All the sidewalks made for great walks. House fully met our needs. Having Roku TV’s in each bedroom and the living room was really nice for winding down at end of day. Kitchen was nicely appointed with all the conveniences of home. Everything was clean upon arrival- lovely home - would 10/10 recommend !!
Loved the proximity to the Rec Center. Easy bike ride to the main pavilion for the pools/restaurants/basketball courts. Trolly drivers were very friendly and accommodating. Only issue was not being able to check in at the designated time because the cleaning staff ran very late. Also note the overall price was significantly higher than a few years ago.
Great vicinity to (dog) walking near the sound in the shade in the mornings with doggie stations. My teenagers made great use of the community center and loved hopping onto the main trail with bikes. The house had everything we needed from the kitchen to TVs on a rainy day!
This home was perfect for the five of us. The location was great! This was our first time in the Outer Banks. We all had our own space. The layout was great. Be prepared to walk up and down the stairs many times a day. We cooked great meals from the local fish/farmers market of fish and clams and awesome steaks and burgers from Harris Tetter. We had game night every night. The location was great. A few minute drive to the beach and we got a prime parking spot every day. The Oceanfront Grill had very nice bar service on the beach!! We played tennis and had lessons several times. We ran and biked the trails along the sound and went to the village several times. One reason I liked this location was I realized from running and biking on the sound side that many days the water really smelled bad. We went to a friends house on the sound side and the bugs after dark were crazy. The area by this house did not smell at all and we sat outside on one of several decks in the dark and we didn’t even notice the bugs . The host was great! We had no issues with this home. I would stay here again.
