This was the 2nd summer vacation our family enjoyed at this VRBO. Everything is great for us here. We arrive prepared not to leave for the whole week. The location is very relaxing, the lake is spring-fed, the kitchen has everything we need, and we love the kayaks.

Wonderful property

The house was fully stocked with everything needed plus more. It felt like home. The host was extremely helpful and accessible to answer any questions. The cabin is awesome and the boat dock was an added bonus.

Perfect Lake Getaway

This place was probably by far the best one we have stayed at on Clark Hill. The house was clean and well stocked. We had a blast fishing, tubing, and swimming. Our family absolutely loved our stayed and would highly recommend.

Amazing Properties

We have stayed at several locations on Strom Thurmond Lake and this was by far our favorite. There were plenty of beds, the kitchen and living room area were a good size, and the back porch and dock were also very nice. The host was responsive very quickly when we had questions. We will be booking here again next year!

Quiet Weekend, Fantastic Trip

Our family was extremely happy with our stay. The cabin was clean and nicely stocked with cooking utensils, supplies, bedding etc. The check in process was simple and the host very responsive. The lake was quiet and beautiful, the perfect place to read a book and relax.

Absolutely peaceful!

We enjoyed our stay so very much! The home was very spacious for 7 adults and one busy 5 year old boy (who loved every moment outside). We enjoyed sitting on the porch during the day, and by the gas fireplace in inside during the evening. I really enjoyed cooking in that beautiful kitchen! Looking forward to our next visit!

Quiet home away from home

I just want to say this was a very enjoyable experience with me and my Groomsmen for my March 4th 2023 wedding. We all had a great time and definitely recommend this quite getaway spot.

Our Family Vacation

We had a great time. This lake location was perfect for us. We were able to swim, kayak and float with almost no one around. The kids are young and it was very safe. The house was set up well and fully stocked for our visit.

Beautiful clean and wonderful host

We loved the log home very clean with nice furnishings. Beautiful view of the lake and a super covered dock for our boat. Can see public boat ramp from the dock. Everything was just great. Hope to go back soon. Would highly recommend for a great vacation

Peace and Serenity

Family time at its best!

We had a wonderful time during our stay! Our family enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock. The cabin was very clean!!! All the beds were super comfy !!! We loved watching all the lighting bugs at night and even got to see a newborn fawn and mother! The owner of the cabin is absolutely wonderful!

Family get away

We truly enjoyed ourselves….. peaceful and beautiful!! The home was amazingly clean and beds were extra comfy. The kids and adults enjoyed swimming and fishing right off the dock. We caught a ton of fish. I would suggest the dock need a little update( hand rails) it’s bit shaky. Overall we would definitely stay again plus the owner was fabulous!

Short fishing/relaxing visit

The property is a perfect get away to relax and fish. Kids also enjoyed canoeing. The property had 3 canoes with paddles and life jackets as well. Pretty much everything you need and think of was provided by host. We all agreed that this will have to be a site to visit yearly.

Beautiful lake house away from civilization

We had a wonderful long weekend staying in this lake house with our family. The house is beautiful and the dock is closer to the house than it looks in the pictures. I used to camp on this lake with my family as a kid, and it’s even more beautiful than I remember. My only complaints are the upstairs shower doesn’t drain well and there are big gaps in the dock which toddler legs can fall into and get scraped up as my 3 year old unfortunately found out despite my constant warnings to watch where she was stepping :( It seems like there should be covers that can be placed over those gaps, but if not, toddler parents beware! The house is also quite far from any stores or restaurants, so bring plenty of food and supplies with you for your stay. We just grilled burgers and hotdogs every night and we were happy :) Overall it was a lovely stay, and my favorite trip we have taken with our kids to date!

Beautiful

This was a short stay but we were able to enjoy kayaking with grand kids . They wanted to stay 5 more days! We hope to visit again in spring or summer. The host ,Teresa made sure we had information , directions and able to connect to wifi for cell phones. Clean and Beautiful!

Girls trip!

We had the most amazing stay at the lake house! Me and a few of my girlfriends went for a little getaway and we were very pleased! It had all the accommodations you could ask for! Very clean, neat, and water access was NOT an issue! We will be back! 💓
