This Kauai getaway is tucked in a quiet community just outside of one of America's most scenic golf courses. Nearby, you'll find all the necessary conveniences as well as an array of restaurants, including classic tiki happy hour spots and unique farm-to-table dining experiences.

Bed & Bath
With three bedrooms spread out over two levels of living space, every member of the ohana will have their own space to enjoy mana'o nahenahe—sweet dreams. Downstairs, a master suite off the main living spaces offers its own full en-suite bath with shower. The upstairs is ideal for a small family with a queen-size bedroom and king-size bedroom with a wall AC unit in each. Get ready for the day in the full shared bathroom with shower/tub combo. Wash off the sand in an outdoor shower while enjoying the warm breezes. Please not that there is only a wall AC unit upstairs in each room. The primary suite does not have AC but open up the windows and experience the Kauai trade winds!

Activities
With a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area for 8, you'll have everything you need for island feasts. Source your ingredients right from Kauai North Shore—just ten minutes away is Hale Halawai's farmers market, rated one of the top five in Hawaii. You could spend whole days working on your tan by your private swimming pool, but when you're ready to explore, you'll find half a dozen beaches within five miles of your front door. Wander through natural vegetation down to Sealodge Beach, where clear waters are perfect for snorkeling, or catch rays on the golden sands of Puu Poa while admiring distant mountains.

This house was perfect for our group of 6! Each couple had their own room, and there was more than enough space. The kitchen was well-stocked, the area fans were appreciated, and we truly enjoyed our time at this home! We also enjoyed having access to beach chairs, the cooler, and snorkeling gear. We left a few items to be used by future renters. We didn't want to leave!

We were visiting the island for our mother’s funeral. We really enjoyed our stay & this house was the perfect vacation for my family. Great spot on the north shore

The house met all of our expectations. The neighborhood is very quiet yet has everything you need. Hiking trails to a beach, a store, an excellent restaurant, smoothie shop and a Tiki bar all in walking distance. On our first day it was great after a five-hour flight and spending the afternoon exploring to be able to relax that evening with drinks in the pool. Would recommend this location highly.

Perfect for our family. Lots of room. PLEASE remember to use reef safe sunblock and DON’T stand on the coral. Be respectful to the island. The reef is almost completely dead.

Princeville Pool House

Excellent place to stay for a family vacation. Plenty of space for everyone. Very comfortable accommodations. All appliances worked great. Didn't need to use the air conditioning units in the bedrooms as windows opened with the fans worked great. So nice to have a private pool with comfortable seating around it. Convenient location next to grocery shopping, shaved ice, ice cream, restaurants, beaches, Queens Bath and even mini golf. The communication and customer service with the rental agency was excellent. Also, really fun at night to find all the frogs in the backyard.

Hosts very responsive

Property managers were very prompt and attentive. Had to troubleshoot a couple issues and they did a great job of taking care of things. I feel like the property itself is a little overpriced, but maybe that’s just the way everything is now. Didn’t give that 5th star because I expected just a little more for what I paid for what was a premium vacation for my family. But overall, very good experience. Would recommend.

a little rough for the price

The property has a garage "studio apartment" that is like a college dorm room that isn't listed on the listing. It was nice to have another bed space, but also a bit of an odd layout to the house. Upon showing up at the property, our lock code provided didn't work, so we ended up "finding" another way in and it was later corrected when calling the property manager. The patio areas had a lot of algae/moss on the concrete, making it super slippery and dangerous in areas around the pool, outdoor shower and the trash cans. Really needs to be corrected before someone cracks their head open. The deck has a number of soft spots as well, i was concerned someone was going to break through the deck boards at some point - fortunately didn't happen. Its a weird layout of a place with a galley kitchen, no easily accessible shared bathroom for the main living areas, as well as the odd studio in the converted garage. Ice maker wasn't working, and there's a need for a deep cleaning inside and out. Overall it was a fine place to stay and we had fun, but the price being asked/what we paid is super high for what the place is.
