A great spot

A perfect place to stay for my first trip to Tokyo! It was a short walk from the train station, and perfectly situated within walking distance to great food and shopping. Clean, cozy, and welcoming. I look forward to staying again on my next trip!

Awesome Two Week Stay

The home looks just like it does in the photos, and it's so spacious. The unit is on the ground floor, and there were no stairs! It was a comfortable fit for my partner and I. The downside is that it is about an hour away from the city center, but the station is a pleasant 14 minute walk. Also surrounded by many restaurants and combinis! Overall I had a wonderful stay and I would recommend this VRBO!

Quaint Place

We enjoyed the place. We had to search for towels. Communication was super limited - welcome email and good bye email. Tiny efficiency but comfortable and close to food and convenience stores. A few shops. Easy access to train and busses. We would like to have been closer to city center but because the prices were too high there, this worked out well.

nice place

the location is great! "off the beaten path" so-to-speak, a better way to say it is that it is in a very local neighborhood. Which I personally enjoyed greatly. a little bit far from "central tokyo" areas such as shibuya, harajuku, etc commuting on the train. just a little bit far so you will have to take the train unless you want to pay a lot for taxis. the place is spacious and ideal for a group of friends. free wifi is a plus. the restaurants in the area are all amazing. the host was very communicative with me and easy to get in touch with. check-in was smooth as well. i recommend this place if you do not care to be outside of shibuya area. beautiful area with nice local shops in the area as well.

Many Surprises

My sister and I were very excited to be renting an apartment in Tokyo. The neighborhood was great and we wish we would have had more time to explore the local shops and restaurants. There are many convenient stores, shops, restaurants and grocery stores in the area which was great. It is located near a bus stop and not too far from the train. It is a local neighborhood which is nice. One of the reasons we decided to rent this place was because of the washing machine and hot plate. Unfortunately, there was no washing machine in the apartment. The free WIFI mentioned in the description was non existent, so we were not able to use it. The apartment is decorated cute and is a nice size, but, it is older (especially the bathroom and toilet), and very dark. The floor creaks and after one day the room was filled with the smell of leaking gas. Still, what disappointed us the most was the communication with the host. We had to make a change to our booking and used the chat through VRBO, but after 1 week still received no reply which was a cause of extra stress. The phone number listed is not the host's contact. We had to call that number only to receive another number which is not accessible through Line or WhatsApp. The check-in process was confusing because the photos listed show as if the apartment is located within the building with other apartments and more secure. It is not. Thankfully the area is safe. But overall, we were very disappointed and would not stay here again.
