Great Mountain Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. The vibe is so obviously on point for the location. The decor makes it feel very much like a retreat from the monotony at home. The view outside was great with the lake and the changing leaves. We had plenty of room inside to spread out but also enjoy time together. The only critique we had was for a house that sleeps about 14 … the hot tub sits 3 comfortably. I was definitely expecting a larger hot tub for the size of the place. Besides that, the stay was perfect.

Perfect spot for a girl’s getaway

The lake cabin was spotless, well stocked with necessities and lots of complimentary items that so many rentals don’t have. You could literally move in and have everything you need to be comfortable! The space is electic, warm/homey, comfortable and peaceful. The host/owner, Larry, was a great communicator and made us feel welcome as he met us at the rental to go over a few details of the place. Highly recommend and hope to stay again soon!

Incredible Cabin on the lake! Perfect for families and groups!

We stayed with our two young kids, another family with young kids, and two couples, and this was the perfect, peaceful cabin on the lake! The host was so accommodating and helpful. The cabin is comfortable and has everything you might need. The hot tub was a big hit! Lots of games, including board games, Tinker Toys and a VHS player that my 4 year old was enchanted by! Only a short drive from downtown Mentone. We had a perfect stay! Highly recommend booking here!

Family Gathering

Rental was advertised. Our host, Larry very accommodating. Teenagers did not like the bedroom and bath off of game room, but hey they are teenagers. Everyone(6 adults; 6 kids) enjoyed our stay. Kids enjoyed the dock. Some fishing occurred but not too many catches.

Great vacation!

Excellent experience! Plenty of room for our family of 11. Owner checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Dick on the River, hot tub, fire pit, well equipped kitchen, close to City of Mentone, groceries etc. We will be back!

So much room!

This cabin was perfect! It had so much space for the kids to play and the adults to relax. I wish we had better weather while we were there, I would have loved to explore the area more... but with the rain we were never cramped or uncomfortable. I will be booking this one again soon!

If you want comfortable, cozy, relaxing, spacious, inviting, fun and a place where you gather to talk and laugh and enjoy being together...book now! THIS PLACE IS TRULY AMAZING!

5 stars is not enough for our experience! The photos you see are exactly what you get! It is super clean and beautifully decorated! The fireplace was a real treat with the cold temperatures we had. Larry was kind to make sure we had plenty of firewood on hand. There were only 2 of us that stayed but everything about this place is PERFECT for a large family. This will definitely be a place I will stay many more times with family and friends.

Best grandparent trip

4 grandparents and 7 children aged 8 - 16 shared this quaint cabin and had plenty of space for all kinds of activities. It was the perfect time. Plenty of space to be apart and together for games and meals. The kids loved the hot tub and outside areas, including the screened porch and the adults appreciated the well stocked and appointed kitchen. The beds were super comfortable especially with the addition of cozy extra blankets. Host Larry could not have been more accommodating or kind and the location was wonderful. Close to Mentone and stores, yet remote and in the woods with wonderful views. Highly recommend! Best VRBO we have ever used and excellent value!

This place was awesome! It has amazing views, super clean and stocked with just about anything we needed. Larry was super responsive and made us feel very welcome. This place is a gem. One of our best Christmas ever!
