Rustic Log Cabin on 1/2 acre in the Woods

This unique log cabin offers a feel of stepping back into the early 1900's. It sits on 1/2 acre so you have plenty of privacy and your closest neighbor are the llamas and horses that live on the next door neighbor ranch. The property is surrounded by cottonwood and aspen trees and if you are lucky, you will spot a family of owls. Seeing a moose or a buck deer near the property is also quite common.

It is located 5 miles from the ski area, 6 miles from the town of Jackson and Yellowstone is approximately 60 miles. There is public transportation START bus, pick up and drop off, within a 3 minute walk from the cabin and the cost is $1 for one way to Teton Village and runs from 6:30am-8:00pm!

Inside the 1000 sq ft. cabin you will find vaulted ceilings, original hard wood floors, fire burning wood stove, antique furniture, a cozy loft, washer & dryer, dining area and a full size kitchen for your culinary needs. The master bedroom is located at one end of the cabin and the pull out couch is located at the other end of the cabin.

We had a great stay. It was secluded enough to be quiet, but close enough to restaurants and the National Park. Had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.

Great stay! First trip out to Jackson and had a great time. My child slept in the loft and thought it was super cool. We even saw a black bear walk by the cabin while we were eating breakfast!

Great getaway outside of town

We loved staying in the cabin located just outside of town and minutes from Teton Village. The place was very quaint and well equipped. We were more secluded than the hotel areas which made our trip even more relaxing. We would definitely recommend a small family staying here. Our 5 yr old loved sleeping in the loft area. Great cabin experience!!!

Anniversary Week at Wilson

Good location for exploring the Tetons. Cabin was private, comfortable, and clean. Enjoyed watching birds, a fox, and a marmot in the yard. Also saw a moose a mile down the road, not to mention lots of wildlife on the park. We really enjoyed our week there as we celebrated our 40th anniversary. Hope to be able to stay there again sometime in the fall.

Met all our needs!

This cabin has a great location, and was a nice size for our family of 4. The host, Nancy, was excellent at communicating before, during, and after our trip, even helping me add an extra day to our stay. All the beds were very comfy, and the appliances all seemed new. Though we didn't do any cooking, we could see the kitchen was fully furnished.

Rare find just outside Tetons

We were looking for a place where we felt secluded, yet close to Jackson and the Tetons without spending a fortune. This cabin fit that description very well. We loved the ambiance of the place. Nancy was kind enough to work with us to extend our stay last minute so we could enjoy an extra day at the Tetons. Thank you, Nancy!

nice cottage in the woods

Enjoyed the house and the yard with the bird feeders. Road noise was the only drawback. Intimate one bedroom four room cottage, clean, comfortable and complete. Felt right at home. Would rent it again.

Lovely Cabin, Perfect Location!

We absolutely adored Nancy’s cabin! It was cozy and well stocked with everything we needed. We saw wildlife in the yard and walked along the walking/ biking trail. The neighbors horses and donkeys were fun to watch with our kids. The place was perfectly positioned in Wilson, close to everything in the market. I can’t recommend this place enough. We are also STR hosts/ Landlords and Nancy does it right. She is an excellent host!

Great location for enjoying mountains of Grand Tetons trails, and parks

Cabin at foot of Tetons, across from bike path perfect for a trip into town for dinner/shopping or day hikes within the Grand Tetons. 2+hour drive up ( one way ) to Yellowstone for full day visit for lower loop of park. While having morning coffee at the cabin, we enjoyed several elk and moose, one bear and one fox siting! Felt very safe. The kitchen is well stocked w pans and a variety of spices. Frig was sparkling clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Was nice to have a grill/yard to wander, stretch and relax in after a long day. Would love to return!

Perfect location

We enjoyed our stay more than we could have expected. Before we even booked, Nancy was great about quickly responding to our questions. She was very accommodating in helping us with our specific travel concerns. Most importantly, the cabin was fantastic. It is located just off of a busy road, but you still had the feel of being isolated in the woods. The home is very charming and had everything we needed. The location is central to everywhere we wanted to go. We were sad to leave when the time came, but we will be back and hope to rent this same location again!

Wonderful treasure

Perfect rustic cabin nestled in the woods far enough to view deer, chipmunks, foxes, horses, donkeys, and elk. Everything needed for comfort available and communication with host without fault. Husband and I will definitely rebook this gem. Perfect central location for all our local visits.

Charming cabin!

Great family stay between Jackson and Teton village

We spent 5 nights here in a cozy log cabin, nice to come back to after a hard day of hiking and sightseeing 😀. Nancy was helpful and easy to communicate with. Our sons played in the big yard, and we made s’mores at the fire pit. Would recommend!

Family vacation

We had a great experience at this location. Our boys loved the loft. We honestly wouldn't change a thing except for maybe more curtains over the windows. My husband walked out to the living room in his boxers and there was a guy outside weed eating lol. Other than that one thing it was perfect. We had an issue with the shower drain but the home owner came over and got it fixed and it worked perfectly fine.

Love this cabin!!

Our family had an absolutely fantastic stay here! Beautiful property in a prime location that can't be beaten. Nancy is an incredible host who makes sure you have everything you need for a great and comfortable experience. We loved this cabin so much that we want to stay here again when we come back to WY!

The property is accurately portrayed on VRBO. Kitchen was equipped better than my own. The only criticism I have is I wish it was farther off a main road. Overall, a nice place to stay. Nancy was very responsive to all my questions.

Great Cabin

The location is perfect for accessing both Teton Village and Jackson via the bus route. The cabin is gorgeous, and very well equipped for cooking needs etc. We would definitely recommend, and would rent again. Thanks Nancy.
