This place is awesome. Centrally located to all the slopes in Park City. Close to shopping and restaurants. We were able to cook in unit and also enjoy great food within walking distance. I highly recommend.

It's great that you also took advantage of the nearby dining and shopping options. We look forward to welcoming you back for another fantastic stay in Park City!
Overall, it was a very good experience. The building (hallways) could use some work/improvements.

Thank you for staying at our Prospector 425 home! The hallways were updated about 3-4 years ago and are on the schedule to further updates in the next year. The condo, itself, was completely remodeled and is new, tastefully decorated, comfortable and a perfect choice for a downtown Park City getaway.

Avoid this owner and think twice about using sites like VRBO for your vacation
The property is as advertised and the free local transport allowed us to visit without needing a car. There's not much as far as bars, restaurants, or cafes in the immediate vacinity. Our only real problem was that the hot water was out the last 2 nights and we were forced to use a somewhat nasty public shower at the gym a few buildings over from the property. We personally don't consider showering in public desirable when paying for lodging, but we had no alternative. The water we did have in the room was EXTREMELY cold which made it unpleasant to wash your hands, dishes, shave, etc. We were also unable to shower the morning we left which kind of stunk (pun intended).
When you rent a place you assume it will meet basic health and safety standards, but in our case it did not. We requested a refund for the two nights we were without hot water expecting that the owner would do the right thing, however, we were not credited a dime. We realize that it was not the owner's fault that the hot water heater went out, but we thought that our request was completely fair for everyone. A reputable hotel or resort would NEVER make you pay for a night that you did not have hot water and would probably comp your entire stay.
If you are deciding between this place and a comparable property, I would choose the other based on our experience with this owner. The hot water heater was replaced so you likely won't experience any issues with water, but if something unexpected happens during your stay (ie air conditioning, fridge, microwave, stove/oven, washer/dryer, etc) and the issue is not easily fixable, there's a chance you'll be out of luck and this owner may not make it right. Charging full price when a most basic amenity is not available is unethical at best and possibly illegal at worst. Property owners take on risk when renting in exchange for rental income, but sites like VRBO are loosely regulated and as a result the renter takes on risk as well. In the future, we will strongly consider choosing a hotel or resort instead of using a site like this because you know you'll get what you pay for and will be treated fairly in the rare event when something goes wrong.
We hope you find this review informative and helps you in your decision making process. Enjoy your time in Park City!

READER BEWARE: At the admission of the reviewer, this is a lovely home and completely undeserving of a 1-star review. It was unfortunate that the water heater stopped working. This affected the entire building. There was still water to the condo and the HOA management provided passes to the Silver Mountain Sports Club (certainly not a low end facility with "nasty" showers) to shower for the (less than 24 hours) of time it took to replace. The guest was given the option to check out and receive a refund or stay for a discount on the affected night. Disappointingly, this review is the result of the guest wanting more than the fair resolutions offered. We can't wait to host future stays in this amazing remodeled, comfortable space with tons of amenities (including a new building water heater!)
