Beautiful Place to Stay

We loved our time at this cabin. It was beautiful and had everything you needed for a great stay. My kids loved the beach area and fishing off the dock in the resort. We also had great experiences with Lake Lure Adventures, Canopy Ridge, and Lake Lure Outdoors.

Well appointed, comfortable home in beautiful lake lure. No blinds in master bedroom, so if you like to sleep in late it might not be for you, but we loved the views! Would definitely stay again.

Lake Lure visit

We really enjoyed our stay at Rumbling Bald and loved the house. The house had lots of big windows to provide beautiful views of the outdoors. Well taken care of place.

All the comforts of home

Excellent house. Beautifullly furnished and stocked. Very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with spices and basic condiments which really helps during a short stay.

Cozy Property

The property is spacious and cozy. It could use just a little "facelift" in certain areas and supplies, but everything was comfortable. The Property Manager's attention was excellent considering we had "bear" visits and rode out Hurricane Helene there!

Luxe Rumbling Bald Retreat with Deck

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Everything clean and well stocked. We bought our groceries for our stay, only 15 minutes away. Gave 4 stars because washer needs a good cleaning and the king suite jacuzzi tub jets need to be cleaned thoroughly. Loved the king suite and the amenities the resort had to offer.

I also want to reassure you that the black stain in the washer will not come off. We have tried everything to remove it, vinegar, bleach, and lots of scrubbing. It is there forever I am afraid. I will put a sign on the washer that it is a stain and not mold. Thank you for your comments and I hope you will come back."

Only disappointment was no view due to overgrown trees...no guest passes for the club and a bit too remote...still liked it though

Wonderful Vacation Home!

We absolutely enjoyed our week day in August at this property! This house has everything you need and more! The beds were so comfortable and it sits at the top of the mountain with only one other house on the road. The master bathroom and bedroom was absolutely luxurious and amazing. We enjoyed the comfy living room and screened porch. The resort is amazing and has so many things to do. We had great communication with the property manager and she provided helpful information for our stay. We took a short walk down the road by the house and did encounter a big black bear that came right off the mountain and crossed right in front of us but ran off when it saw us. We also saw a group of wild turkeys on the drive down the mountain. We really enjoyed our trip and have fell in love with this resort! We hope to return soon! Highly recommend this property!

Great property with resort-like benefits

My husband and our 3 children wanted a place to enjoy a long weekend. We could not have been more pleased with this wonderful rental. This cabin is set in Rambling Bald and had so many amenities, but being at the top of the mountain (about a 5 minute drive) still made you feel like you were in a secluded cabin. The views were beautiful, the beds were comfortable (in fact, this is one of the first trips where my neck & back didn’t hurt at all!), the cabin was cozy, the master bathtub was amazing, and the rental property managers were quick to respond and help! Rambling Bald had an indoor & outdoor pool, basketball courts, tennis, golf, outdoor lawn games, a spa, mini golf, and two restaurants (one was closed as it is seasonal.), and a beautiful hiking trail - and of course Lake Lure/beach! There was so much to enjoy! Don’t miss the chance to visit Victory Kitchen (right outside Rambling Bald Gates) as it has some amazing breakfast! Overall, this was exactly what we needed! Thank you for the wonderful trip, we definitely recommend that you check this cabin out!

Perfect place to get away from it all

Beautiful, modern, ultra private home. Located within the trees at the top of the mountain. Crisp cool air at night and a crackling fireplace made this get away one we would definitely come back to.

Amazing stay!

We had the absolute best stay at this gorgeous cabin in the Rumbling Bald resort. The cabin has everything you need and is one of the coziest places I’ve ever stayed. The master bath is a reason to stay all in itself. The location was great, in a little cul-de-sac with 2 other houses, so it was very quiet and private. We didn’t really have an issue with the internet but didn’t stream much. They have tons of games and a few DVDs to watch (including Dirty Dancing) for other options than streaming. The resort is great with its private beach access, pools and restaurants. We took a tour of the lake from the resort as well and it was awesome. I can’t wait to come back!

Comfortable and Good Location

We enjoyed our stay very much. The kitchen is well stocked, furniture comfortable. The master bed/bath is very large and almost luxurious. Upstairs bedroom(s) are fine but probably best for kids.
