The Space:

Villa Scorpio combines Cycladic charm with modern comfort, spread across three levels and totaling 360 m². Each of the five bedrooms has its own entrance, private bathroom, and unobstructed views of the Aegean. The master suite occupies the upper level, while the living room with handcrafted stone fireplace and oak flooring sits at the heart of the home, opening to spectacular sea views. A slightly raised dining area connects seamlessly to the fully equipped kitchen.



On the lower level, a private tavern clad in old brick and featuring an indoor grill leads directly to the garden. A laundry and ironing room, along with full climate control—air conditioning and underfloor heating—ensure comfort year-round. The villa’s centerpiece outdoors is the infinity pool, 12×9 meters and finished with EcoFinish™, designed for both beauty and safety. From the estate, guests enjoy direct access to the sea at two different entry points, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and diving.

The Neighborhood:

Villa Scorpio is located in Pefka, a peaceful coastal area on the eastern shore of Attica. Surrounded by unspoiled natural beauty, the estate overlooks the endless blue of the Aegean and benefits from fresh sea air and a serene atmosphere.



Just 12 km away, the port town of Lavrio offers a bustling fish market, seafood tavernas, restaurants, cafés, shops, and lively nightlife. Within 20 km lies Cape Sounion and the world-famous Temple of Poseidon, where visitors can witness one of Greece’s most breathtaking sunsets. Athens city center is about 60 km away, easily reached via the Attiki Odos highway or the scenic coastal road.



For beach lovers, the area offers many beautiful options beyond the villa’s direct sea access. Pefka Beach is only 1 km away, ideal for a quick swim or a peaceful walk by the shore. About 8 km south lies Legraina Beach, one of Attica’s hidden gems with golden sand and turquoise waters. Getting Around:

Villa Scorpio is ideally located for easy travel. The Athens International Airport is about 25 km away (approximately 25 minutes by car). The port town of Lavrio is just 12 km away, offering ferries to the islands as well as shops and dining. The famous Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion lies only 20 km south, a short scenic drive. Athens city center is about 60 km from the villa, reachable in less than an hour via the Attiki Odos highway or by taking the coastal road for a more picturesque route. Guests who prefer public transport can also connect to Athens through the suburban railway network.



Other Things to Note:

The Jacuzzi in the master suite is not currently in operation. The villa underwent a complete renovation in the summer of 2024, offering modern comfort while preserving its authentic character. The infinity pool features EcoFinish™, a certified coating also used in potable water systems. With direct sea access from two different entry points, guests can enjoy crystal-clear waters perfect for thalassotherapy, snorkeling, spearfishing, and other water sports.

I have traveled to many places around the world. This vacation home literally worth the money.It is ideal for those who want to get away from civilization but want to be close to it at the same time. The owners of this vacation home are very nice Greek family. They met us at the airport ,helped us to get to our rented car, and led us to their vacation home. They are very generous.They coked us a welcome dinner, and showed us around the house. The house is really beautiful,well furnished, with spacious swimming pool, and all the rooms are air conditioned. The house on a small hill and is immediately adjacent to a beautiful but mildly rock beach. Sandy beaches are close by. A car is a must, if you intend to leave the house to the cities and towns around it. Me and my family really had the best memmories in this vacation home. If you are still hasitant make up your mind and go you will not regret it.

We can only agree with the previous reviewers: Villa Scorpio in Lavrion is a superb, cosy and comfortable holiday destination for families and groups. When we arrived at the spacious driveway of the villa, after being welcomed at the Athens airport by the friendly owners Nikos and Dina, we saw this villa full of character with a superb sea view, as well from the lounge / living-room inside as from the magnificent pool outside. We'd already seen the pictures on the website, but we were still impressed by its beauty. At our arrival, Nikos and Dina cooked for us. Whenever we had questions, we could give them a call. Top notch service! The refrigerator and kitchen cabinets were already stuffed with food. All appliances you'd expect were available. Downstairs, there was a second dining room, with kitchenette, and - more important - a large barbecue grill (with exhaust fan). The dining area and lounge, being one open space, were very comfortable and brightly lit by the many, large windows. A nice sound system and a beautiful fireplace completed the picture. We immediately felt like home, well except for the stunning sea view which we unfortunately don't have in Belgium… As for the many, nicely decorated rooms with their own bathrooms, there was nothing to complain about: see AliF's review. Quality building materials like natural stone and wood, and a practical layout give the villa a very cosy and yet unique feel. Everything is tastefully decorated, with a lot of attention to detail. Outside, many plants and flowers add to the overall beauty. We frequently woke up early to enjoy the magnificent sunrise, above the already amazing sea view at the pool. Our room gave direct access to the swimming pool, where we could enjoy breakfast whenever we wanted. The secluded location of the villa gave us the privacy we wanted, surrounded by a beautiful environment and away from the noise and stress of our daily life. No buildings were blocking our view, the rocky but beautiful beach was just below us, and we even had a small Cycladic-style church in our neighborhood. And it was still easy to drive to Athens' suburbs like Vouliagmeni and Glyfada for dining and shopping. Let's not forget the beautiful, romantic historical site of Sounion, with its Poseidon temple. We had a fantastic holiday, and as we travel frequently to Greece, we will surely come back to Villa Scorpio!

Wir haben mit unserer Familie Großeltern, Eltern und Kleinkindern eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem besonderen Haus verbracht. Die Beschreibungen im Inserat treffen alle zu. Das Haus ist direkt am Meer gelegen, man hat einen atemberaubenden Blick!!! Auch hat man hat die Möglichkeit von dort über einen kleinen Fußweg durch den Garten in einer kleinen Bucht Mit kristallklarem Wasser zu baden. Die Bucht ist steinig , es gibt trotzdem Möglichkeiten ,sich auf den Steinen hinzulegen und zu sonnen. Der Pool vom Haus ist einzigartig schön, man sieht die Sonne von dort aufgehen, die alles in ein goldenes Licht hüllt.Das Haus war sehr sauber, die Betten wunderbar und genügend Platz für zehn Leute, um sich auch einmal zurückzuziehen. Unsere Kleinkinder fanden genügend Möglichkeiten , sich im und um das Haus herum auszutoben. Bei unserer Ankunft war der Kühlschrank gefüllt, so dass man nicht sofort einkaufen musste. In der Küche findet man alles was man zum Kochen und Grillen braucht. Der Pool ist gepflegt,Nebensächlichkeiten, zum Beispiel etwas verwohnte Gartenmöbel, haben uns nicht wirklich gestört. Der Weg zu diesem wunderschönen „blauen Haus“ ist nicht ganz einfach, die Umgebung weder touristisch , aber auch nicht besonders ansprechend. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto, um einzukaufen oder ein Restaurant aufzusuchen . Dieses ist in 10-15 Minuten Fahrzeit möglich. Nikos war jederzeit erreichbar für uns , was wir jedoch gar nicht in Anspruch nehmen mussten . Insgesamt waren alle von uns glücklich und hochzufrieden . Wenn möglich kommen wir sehr gern wieder!

Séjour magique à la villa Scorpio

Un grand merci à Nikos pour son accueil. Nous avons passé 15 jours merveilleux !! Séjour à 3 couples avec 6 enfants (18, 15, 2 x 12, 9 ans et 18 mois (attention lieux (marches et piscine non sécurisés)) chaque famille a son espace grâce à chaque terrasse devant les chambres, piscine, vue mer et deux accès à la mer absolument magique ! Quelques plages sympa à proximité, même si nous n’avions pas vraiment envi de quitter la maison. Séjour début août avec du vent, mais toujours un endroit à l’abri ! L’avril ou faire les courses est à 15 mn environ. Un séjour mémorable !!!

A nice place and hour from Athens, as advertised

This is a very nice place for an extended family, as we were, especially if you have someone cooking. It is remote, and you have to drive a while to get to supermarkets, but the house is large and comfortable, with two rooms in a separate structure by the pool. The roads to the house, in the last mile or so, are small and winding, but manageable. Overall, we would highly recommend this rental.

We were a group of 10 people and enjoyed every day in the villa. Everything was as described and the landlord also helped us to get in touch with a cooking team who cooked deliciously directly in the villa. And he also made a reservation for us in a restaurant. Unfortunately there was a problem with the payment but we could solve it in the end.

A perfect place for relax. The house with pool and garden was very well planned and beautiful. A poolside dining area with morning sun and sea views and a dining area facing the flowering garden with evening sun. In addition, a nice dining area with barbecue kitchen indoors. The host couple Nikos and Dina were very helpful and pleasant. Upon our arrival, the shops were closed for several days of Easter weekend so the host couple had filled the kitchen with food for several days of stay and served us a good bruschetta upon our arrival. Merci à nikoa de nous avoir reçu dans sa villa. Celle ci offre une vue magnifique sur la mer. Ainsi lorsqu'il fait froid vous pouvez profiter de celle ci devant un bon feu de bois et lorsque le temps est plus clément c'est au bord de sa très belle piscine à débordement que vous pourrez profiter de votre soirée. La villa est très largement adaptée pour 12 personnes avec des lits très confortables et un grand nombre de salles d'eau. La cuisine est spacieuse et fonctionnelle. Nikos quand à lui sait se rendre disponible tout au long de votre voyage pour vous apportez toute l'aide dont vous pourriez avoir besoin.

Lovely stay at villa Scorpio

We (a family of 7 adults) enjoyed our stay at villa Scorpio in week 42. The villa is really suited for a large family with two separate entrance bedrooms in the adjoining building (with access directly to the swimming pool and terrace with sea view) and the other bed rooms in the main building. This enables a holiday where you can be together but also be private if you want to. The villa is in an area that looks like a lot of large holiday houses. As we were there in late season it was very quiet and tranquil. All in all a great villa that we would love to go back to.

Fabulous beyond belief!!

This is the real deal. My family of six traveled from the U.S. and were lucky enough to have booked this stay. Nikos and his wonderful wife Dina were hospitable beyond expectations, ensuring we were well cared for and comfortable throughout our stay. The property was clean with plenty of room for all; everything was perfect, fresh towels, sheets and well equipped kitchen. A stocked refrigerator was waiting for us on arrival and throughout our stay. Nikos was always available via text or phone; he even offered to help us with transportation and tour guides. He helped us arrange an in-home dinner for our final night which was by far the best food we had during our 10-day visit. We're not big city people, so the location was perfect; just 20 minutes from the airport, and an easy drive to Athens, Corinth, Lavrio, Sounion. The location is perfect, the house is fabulous, and the hospitality is unsurpassed by the finest hotels. There is no doubt Villa Scorpio is our go-to accommodations on our next visit to Greece. We traveled from Florida and Texas (family of 10) to celebrate my 60th birthday. Staying at Villa Scorpio was the perfect choice. We had 3 families and the home is modeled to provide privacy for all parties, yet large and appointed perfectly to all gather for meals and lounging to discuss the wonderful daily adventures. Hosts Niko and Dena were the best assisting us with every detail from private shuttles to daily excursions. They know their wonderful country well and helped to make our trip an adventure we will NEVER forget. Thanks for the beautiful memories...we'll be back!

Beautiful house

We were nine people (age ~25) and enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house absolutely. The rooms are a good size and are all perfectly equipped and clean. There are two large dining rooms and lounges and a spacious living room with great view. Also many spacious refrigerators, storage and dishes. Both in front of and behind the house you can sit and eat in a large group. The pool is very clean as well as the entire garden. On a small path you can walk directly to the sea and after a few meters you are already on the rocks and in the water. You can go swimming in the sea easily. The lessor ist very nice and has taken care of everything. We got a detailed house inspection and afterwards a self-prepared food which was very delicious. Also everything you needed was already in the house prepared like toilet paper, dishwasher tablets and plenty of foods and drinks. The barbecue was very easy and made a lot of fun. The only problem that we had was when all 9 people showered after each other the warm water was empty but with a bit of agreement this was not a problem either. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very very much and can warmly recommend this great villa. Especially the pool with the breathtaking view has thrilled us.

Fantastic, fabulous and extraordinary villa with an astoning view of the Aegean Sea

Our three generation family spent one splendid week in this beautiful villa. We were 12 persons and we had space for being together and for privacy- for relaxing, swimming in the wonderful infinity pool and for barbecuing etc. Dina and Nikos had prepared a delicious light meal for us when we arrived and in the fridge and the kitchen were lots of good stuff for the following days. They were wonderful people. Thanks for renting us this amazing house! We had a fantastic week. We’ll be back some day.

The location of this very special villa is perfect: 25 minutes away from the international airport and 45 minutes away from Athens city center this spot is a totally calm place surrounded by only a few other villas. There is direct access to the sea just 2 minutes away. The house is constructed in a very thoughtful way. There is one bedroom on the first floor from where you have the perfect view and direct access to a large balcony. Two further bedrooms are in a separate building together with a bathroom and mini-kitchen. They are like separate appartments. The other two bedrooms are in the basement of the main villa. Everything you need is there. A very well equipped kitchen and additional barbeque place. Depending on sun and wind there are around the building several place to relax and enjoy. The living room area is spacious and offers a unique view to the sea.The owners of the villa are wonderful people, super helpful and supportive. They have been putting together a whole set useful information for shopping, sightseeing etc.. The refrigerator was equipped with all you need for 1 or 2 days. So overall we just found paradis on earth

I was born one summer of the last Century and grew up in Athens Greece.
As a former Navy officer during my service, I had the chance to step on almost every rock of the Greek Aegean Archipelago and see the unique beauty of my country. Later, on cruise ship bridges, I was fortunate to do my services at "Celebrity Cruises" one of the excellent companies in the cruise market. Today, I still live in Athens and manage this house.
Nowadays, almost everyone who owns a holiday home can rent it as a tourist accommodation and the internet is overflowing with words like "low price, villa, luxury, spacious, by the sea, etc..."
Thankfully, it's much easier now for travelers who know what they're looking for, to understand the differences between the bargain, the reasonable, and unreasonable" asked fees.

Of the standalone properties in the tourism market, only a few have the "exclusive tourist accommodation label" given by the Greek authorities (Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism).
Just think that the properties holding the sign have been officially inspected and approved.

Why they chose this property

It was a common dream of both my wife and me to build a house next to the sea. We were planning to move permanently and leave Athens City forever. You can feel that this house has been built with passion and personal care. It's a house with character surrounded by extremely positive energy -as many of our guests said so far.
Nevertheless, life is tricky and usually plans change in a minute.
So, we decided to rent our house.
Bringing all my experience from the cruise ships among my wife's affection for decoration and her deep knowledge of hospitality, our home became "Villa Scorpio".
It may be listed as a self-catering villa but I can assure you that it could be easily characterized as a private hotel.
From our side, we can promise you that we will do everything possible to make your vacations smooth and relaxed. We'll be on call 24/7 for anything you'd like to ask. We will support you in finding and arranging a daily visit to a historical place, to a scuba diving safari at the Aegean waters.
