We decided to get married!

We booked our second trip to Maui and loved Honua Kai so much in 2021 we decided to stay here again this trip. All of our friends kept teasing us about getting married so 2 weeks before we decided to on our trip. The concierge recommended a wedding planner and one call everything was planned & perfect. Once again we had another perfect trip. We will stay here again

Beautiful Resort

This condo was very comfortable and the resort and grounds are beautiful. The construction noise was more than we'd expected, but we were told about it up front, so we can't really complain. We did notice that the carpet in the condo needed to be cleaned, and the kitchen wasn't stocked as well as it could have been. But neither of these items kept us from thoroughly enjoying our stay!

Condo was perfect for my wife and I.

We really enjoyed this condo. It was everything we needed for our vacation. Had a little issue with the door code, but was resolved. The safe is broken, which was a bummer and they wouldn’t come fix it. Otherwise, we appreciate the location, cleanness, food truck court with in walking distance. The board walk along the ocean was awesome. Beaches are super clean. Definitely would recommend it!!!

Honua Kai K524 - Sept 2022

Honua Kai is a very nice resort. The property has a great ‘pool village’, several pools including 5 hot tubs spaced interconnected with luscious plants that not only provides an esthetically pleasing environment but also provides some shade and separation from others so it doesn’t have such a crowded feel. We had the Mountain View which we really enjoyed with the expansive balcony. The couch and carpets were a little dated and showing their wear but still comfortable. The hide-a-bed mattress was the usual spring popping uncomfortable disappointment. Overall we really enjoyed the large clean room with the well supplied kitchen and spacious bathroom. Would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for a vacation on Maui!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Honua Kai Konea condo. It was our first time booking with KBM Resorts and our overall experience was close to perfect. The unit was exactly as described and pictured. Very spacious and updated. The staff were friendly and helpful -- even when we locked ourself out of our condo security was able to let us in almost immediately. We had a great stay at Honua Kai!

KBM Resorts provided everything we needed

We've been to Honua Kai twice before but not through KBM. Thought we would give KBM a try and we're extremely glad we did. In addition to a very competitive price, I really liked the way they anticipated the inevitable "friction"of having a vacation by taking care of the car, offering to arrange activities and providing everything you need for the beach or for small children - very smooth, KBM. See you next year.

Loved the pools (though could be cleaner) and we enjoyed the units beach chairs too. KBM Hawaii was very easy to work with and I would highly recommend them.

The Honua Kai Resort is a great place to stay

The Honua Kai Resort is a great place to stay. With the cleanliness that we experienced, the amenities and location, we were more than happy with our stay. My husband and I were travelling with our one year and felt that the resort, as well as accommodations, were well equipped for children of all ages. Delicious food at Duke's Restaurant with great service. Pool side service was very efficient and friendly as well.

A beautiful property with long walking on beach or boardwalk Having Dukes on property was awesome Wonderful food and view, just make sure to book early Unit 524 that we stayed in has very poor wifi. We had to go down to lobby or out in property or to where my son was staying in Unit 306 to have perfect wifi

Amazing location

The property is everything that is listed. It was very quiet and great for families. The only issue was the towel machine. It seemed like it never worked for us and we would consistently have to ask the employees for towels. All in all, highly recommend this location.

Very nice and spacious unit. The kitchen was well appointed. The view of the foothills was beautiful, a bit noisy from workers during day but we expected that. I would have liked to have an extra set of linens as the dryer takes several hours to complete the drying cycle. In addition, it may be time to replace the bed and linens as they are getting yellowed from use and time. Other than that, I would highly recommend the unit. Thank you for our stay, it was delightful!!

Family Friendly Haven

We were overly pleased with this property! First and foremost, we were traveling with a two year old and a 9 month old and were super happy with all the accommodations. It was amazing having beach toys, cooler, chairs, etc to help us with our journey. The condo was fully equipped with dishes, towels, washer, kitchen, and the balcony was spectacular! The resort itself was perfect for families. There were tons of pools, markets, and a great restaurant. The communication and ease of check-in & check-out was ideal. We would definitely recommend this to others!

Great view with spacious room

The room had full kitchen with semi-good kitchen items. Knife was very dull, but did the job. It has HUGE bathroom!! The bed was comfortable and good hideaway bed condition. Lanai was beautiful with big open glass door to enjoy great mountain view. Construction was going on, which was slightly annoying, but we were ok since we knew about it.

The resort was very well laid out, clean and friendly staff. We were travelling with extended family and this was a great spot to be, close to groceries, medical clinic (no fault of the resort) and sundry shopping. We had construction outside our unit which had very little impact on our stay. Our unit had a good selection of beach stuff.
