Cathy, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to accommodating you again in the future.
Great property, full of charm and calm - wonderfully close to the main streets for great access to Port Fairey while remaining a quiet and peaceful retreat.
Just needs the cobwebs cleaned out of the house to make it absolutely perfect.

Thanks for the feedback and so glad you enjoyed your stay!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Eason cottage. It was very convenient to shops and east beach as we had family staying there. The only problem we had was no hot water for 24 hours but it was corrected very quickly.

Hi Jill. Thanks for your review and my apologises again about the water, so glad we could get it sorted. Hope to see you again in the future!
My cousins were out from Canada and this was the first place we stayed while they were here and they loved the fact it was an original Australian house. It was a gem, very comfortable and cozy with a roaring wood fire. The town of Port Fairy is full of delightful old Australian houses which was a lovely introduction to their Australian holiday.

Thank you Jackie for your kind review. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. We hope to have you back again soon.
Clean and cosy cottage so close to the Port Fairy centre. Off street parking a plus, although a bit tedious for reversing. Would benefit if the garden was taken more TLC, but it was at the end of the long, hot and dry summer….Overall very satisfying.

Thanks for your review and feedback. It has been a very long, hot summer but the garden is on the top of the gardener's list now we seem to be heading into autumn.
Lovely house, well equipped kitchen, beautiful art on the walls, comfortable living room, comfortable beds, good reverse cycle heating. But some suggestions: 1. The 3rd bedroom is tiny - you should say this on the website - misleading! Kindling and smaller pieces of wood are need for the wood fire and the door on the wood fire was very very hard to close; need to supply small bins inside for recycling - glass, food and other recycling - to match the outside bins.

Lovely property and great location. It was starting to get chilly but the place had everything to keep us cosy including a nice fireplace. We had 2 small children and they were happy running around in the garden.

We loved our stay here, it is the perfect little beach house. Close to shops, everything worked and a glass of wine by the fire after a long day at the beach made for a perfect spring long weekend.
