Our stay at the Winesburg farmhouse in Amish country was great. We appreciated the fact that we had all the amenities we needed but that the house is still reflected it's 1800s character.Loved the location, which was great for getting to several different places to visit. The fireplace quickly became our favorite spot to hang out and we also enjoyed peaceful setting with just the sounds of nature to keep us company.If you're looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by natural beauty and timeless simplicity, this is the place to be.

Nice historic house

The house had plenty of room for everyone in our party (4 adults and one teen). The second living room with tv was nice so the teenager had their own space. The property grounds were beautiful with a large pond and fruit trees.

Holiday Getaway

We rented this property for a vacation with our family from all over. It was everything we hoped for and more! Secluded in the rolling hills of OH, the only thing missing was snow. We had plenty of space for all of us to relax and enjoy the winter weather, as well as the charm of the 200 year old farm house.

Beautiful, relaxing experience

We were needing some much needed downtime after weeks of remodeling our home. This place delivered and then some. It’s very quiet with lots of nature around. Sitting outside on the deck enjoying the wildlife was probably my favorite part of the trip. This property is literally in the middle of Amish country which was an another plus.

Amish Country weekend getaway

Long weekend getaway for 4 tired moms. The farm house is beautiful and very quiet. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we did not get to look around as much as we wanted to.We did enjoy our stay. Note:There are other buildings on this property which are very close to the farm house. The proximity of the other buildings and rental unit was a surprise. Upon entering the drive we thought we may have the wrong place. (Another rental on the same property is noted in the description.)

Great getaway!

Beautiful,roomy house located in the heart of Amish country, surrounded by fields, woods and rarely traveled road. We spent a peaceful weekend enjoying each other in this home with plenty of space to gather and to not feel crowded by each other. Rooms are huge and the house is just spectacular. Listing doesn't do it justice and leaves out that it has a dining table that fits 8 to 10 and it has a bbg grill. Bring your own charcoal, paper towels and sponges. Would stay here again!

It kind of threw me off how far it was off the road... I also was not aware it was a house behind the venue. I came back day 2 to find people parked out from checking the house out walking around. Beautiful home the owner took a lot of care in to the details. I really loved all of the seating areas. It allowed for me and the kids to spread out. Plenty of blankets and we kept warm in the house which was awesome thank you for a great stay!I ead

Lovely property

This was a wonderful place to stay. It is in the middle of nowhere and very quiet and private. The grounds are fantastic and this old house has plenty of room to spread out in. Our large group of 10 had plenty of space. One of the best things about this rental was the abundance of towels and blankets. There were also plenty of hooks for hanging wet towels, jackets, shirts. etc. The beds were very comfortable and the king (bed) rooms were huge. The kitchen was perfect for our needs and the outside deck was a pleasant feature we all enjoyed. We loved everything about this place!

We really enjoyed our stay at Winesburg Farm. The house was immaculate and spacious enough for two families. The upstairs gets a a little warm, but they do provide fans in each room. Loved the kitchen!

The place is great. The house is spacious and very comfortable. The beds are huge as well. The only complaint I had is being that we are out pretty far from the city cell phone reception is non existent and the wifi at this place was hit or miss. Other than that this is a wonderful place to stay.
