A nice house that needs some updates
The house was very nice. We have rented from Morton and Furbish several times over the years. Here are my issues with this house and it has to do with pricing and value. This house is priced like a premium house and in many ways it is. But for the price paid, there has to be a dishwasher. It was disclosed that there was no dishwasher. But it is priced like the kitchen has everything when it does not. The kitchen also was poorly stocked with glasses, cups, and plates. Second, while the house does have a private dock and private access to the lake, it is across the street on a very busy road with loud traffic. Again, this may seem nitpicky, but if I am paying a premium price, I don't want to have to cross a busy road to get to the lake. Not to be all negative, the deck and hot tub were definitely the best features of the house by far. And this was the cleanest house we have stayed in by far
