1. -Owner available 24/7. Owner-managed. Any urgent matters quickly addressed. The front desk is also open 24/7 (& they sell frozen pizzas! :) )

2. -Reviews. All 178 reviews are authentic and maintaining a perfect 10/10! Such a high count number maintaining the highest possible rating is extremely rare and we are proud that our continued hard work, attention to detail, outstanding cleaning company and regular upgrades have helped us maintain our wonderful rating.

3. -Penthouse. Ours is the largest 1-bedroom in the Aspens and 1 of only 2 units with vaulted ceilings. This helps to create a very comfortable large space. Further, the living area is adjacent to a fire escape stairwell (never used). This means not only an excellent location in case of emergency, but also means no noise from other units and so the entertainment unit including sound system bothers no one either! Hundreds of rentals and ZERO noise complaints! The existence of the fire escape next door also explains why our unit is so large and at 700sq ft, is much closer in size to a 2 bedroom (785) than the typical 1-bdrm (576). It also means a very large bedroom and a living room larger than almost all of the 2 bedroom units.

4. -Furnishings. Size is great however a condo is not "luxury" unless the furnishings and outfitting are also of the highest quality and the unit is upkept to the highest possible standards. Cue the high quality king bed and sofa beds (all with memory foam because when you play hard you need to sleep well!), a kitchen fit for a chef!, floor to ceiling tile in the bathroom, heated floors, high quality carpeting, GearDryer*, 2 smart TVs, stainless bbq... the list goes on.

5. -RENOVATION! Nov./Dec., 2024 including new entrance remodel, installation of high quality carpeting and painting throughout.

Our place looks great!!! And it's clean. And it's comfortable. And it's big!

We use our place often so all guests get to enjoy all those little extras that elevate a condo from a mere vacation property to a true home away from home! If you simply want it ALL and nothing but the best will do then our place will fill your check list!


In closing it is easy for owners to overstate their space. But if they do they will not maintain such high ratings over such a long period of time *8yrs....! We prefer to encourage all prospective guests to read our fantastic reviews. Nowhere will you find disappointment or any questions as to the great value our Penthouse offers. It delivers. "THE ASPENS BUILDING DETAILS/AMENITIES"

-FREE Ski valet. 07:30-18:00 daily during ski season

-24/7 front desk. They also sell basic groceries such as milk, cereal, muffins, coffee, cream, frozen pizza and ice cream, pasta, sauce, toiletries and a host of other items.

-Pool towels. At front desk.

-Pool. One of the largest in Whistler and West facing means full sun all day long. Surrounding the pool are large cantilevered umbrellas, lounge and sitting chairs. Pool is kept at a comfortable temperature year round.

-3 hot tubs. All of which are within sight of skiers and borders passing by as well as the Blackcomb Gondola right outside our property gate. Serene in the evening.

-Bike storage room. Gated and video monitored. A code will be provided for access.

-LOCATION! LOCATION!, LOCATION!!
The Aspens is one of if not the very best locations in Whistler. One of the only true ski in ski outs in Whistler, The Aspens holds the title as closest ski out in the Upper Village to the Blackcomb Gondola. From the time you take your skis/boards off at the hot tub gate, to the time you're inside our penthouse is as short as 2 minutes. That beats The Fairmont by a few minutes and the Four Season by an additional several. Guests at either of our world famous neighbors cannot "ski out".

Epic Penthouse - Aspens

My wife and I had a great time staying @ The Aspens. The location couldn't have been better (ski in and out) and the place was very clean and had all the accommodations for a perfect stay. I highly recommend staying in the penthouse, it won't disappoint.

Lovely, well kept and comfortable unit.

We enjoyed our annual mother/daughter weekend in Leo's condo. Leo texted me with a welcome before we arrived, and even arranged for an early check-in. The unit is very well taken care of, cozy and comfortable. It is also fully stocked with all the kitchen essentials if you wish to cook. We have stayed in many units in the Aspens, and this one is the nicest we have seen. Thank you Leo for your hospitality and we will absolutely stay there again.

Awesome mid-winter vacation

We had a great time at this VRBO, one the best locations in Blackcomb, true ski in-ski out location. Host/owner was available/responsive when I had questions (unlike any other rental experience I've had). We'll try and stay here again next year for sure-

Simply Amazing

A wonderful apartment in a superb location. Leo was very responsive to all our questions and requests. The apartment was fault less. Beautiful and clean. Very comfortable beds and living room even down to small things like a throw blanket for when you're sitting on the lounge of an evening. The gear dryer was perfect to dry the boots after a days skiing.

Amazing Place

The penthouse condo is amazing! The location is ideal for ski-in and ski-out! The beds are super comfy. The shower and instant hot water was perfect. The clothes dryer was a nice touch, as well as the spa robes! We’ll definitely stay there again. Leo was like a concierge, gave us a wonderful recommendation for dinner!

Great location. Host was very responsive and helpful with recommendations on the area. We enjoyed the biking and hiking in the area and the mountains. Perfect location and exceptional host

This is a perfect location. We were able to walk to all of the Whistler villages. The Blackcomb Mountain gondola boarding point is super close. The host was exceptional with all communications and instructions.

This place is absolutely amazing! The owner’s communication was outstanding—they checked in as soon as we arrived to make sure everything was perfect and even shared fantastic recommendations for nearby dining. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, including coffee and cooking utensils, making it feel like home.The location couldn’t be better! Access to the slopes is incredibly easy—just head out the back gate, put on your skis, and take a short glide to the Blackcomb gondola. Everything you need is within walking distance, and the public transportation is excellent. Bus #5 drops you off right at your front door, which is super convenient.For après-ski fun on the Whistler side, you can ride the Excalibur gondola back, hop off at the mid-station, and ski Merlin straight to the back gate. It couldn’t be simpler!We had an unforgettable stay and can’t wait to return. This will always be our go-to spot when visiting the mountain! Highly recommend!

Excellent condo in perfect location.

Excellent condo in a perfect location. Kitchen is well stocked with clean and new items. Condo is spacious for a one bedroom and the two pullout couches in living area are really comfortable. Big bonus points for the boot and glove dryer - lifesaver after a deep powder day. Amenities are awesome - three hot tubs plus pool, complimentary ski valet, etc. Can’t get more ski-in/out than this place and just a 3 minute walk down to the base of Blackcomb. The host, Leo, was incredibly helpful and a really nice guy. Super easy to deal with and constantly checking in to see if we needed anything. Asked for an extra blanket and it was delivered right away. Overall 5 Star experience across the board - book with absolute confidence.

Family adventures to the max!

Leo’s spot was wonderful! As stated in the previous reviews, the beds were plush and comfy. The location was excellent and in close proximity the village, but far enough away to still some enjoy peace and quiet. The kids gave the pool and hot tub 2 thumbs up!

Weekend in Whistler

My son is moving to Whistler for work. I went along with him to help get him set up. The condo was perfect for us. Right in the Blackcomb Village, easy and fast access to the Whistler Village. It was very comfortable and well equipped. The host was very responsive and kind. I wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

So much to love about our Whistler ‘Penthouse’ stay: Excellent communication from our host, Leo; Super walkable location to Whistler Village - shopping, dining, trails, etc. Comfortable furnishings including crisp linens and bedding. Cozy surroundings; fireplace inside, hot tubs (outside in the pool area), and unique local art throughout the apartment. Super clean; likely the cleanest short-stay unit we’ve stayed at! Loved our visit to Whistler and would definitely recommend and return. Thank you!!!

We live in Squamish, are avid skiers, mountain bikers, kayakers and we love to travel. We also love getting up to Whistler to use our beautiful condo in between rentals. Hosting has been a lot of work but it’s also been very rewarding with all the great guests we’ve had over these 8 years!

Why they chose this property

Location location location!!!! You just can't beat The Aspens for it's true slope-side ski in and ski out location. The penthouse is the second property we've owned in this terrific building having moved from the ground floor in 2017. With neighbors The Fairmont and the Four Seasons and with a gondola at your doorstep The Aspens is absolutely ideal. Staying in the Upper Village has all the amenities and none of the noise of the main village. Yet it's a 8-10 minute stroll away from all the Village energy! Party in the Village. But sleep in the Upper Village....

Our Penthouse is unique in The Aspens. It is the largest space 1-bedroom in the complex and in comparison to all others, is the most spacious. The rest is a long list of excellent outfitting, modern amenities and the highest quality furniture. Add heated floors, 2 balconies, bbq, A/C and NEW FOR WINTER 2024/2025: A HIGH QUALITY SKI BOOT AND GLOVE/HELMIT DRYER. "GearDryer" brand. Please read our reviews.
