Nestled in the heart of James Bay, the Garden Retreat is the perfect oasis in Victoria, BC. We are within short walking distance of everything you need from grocery and gift stores, cafe's, pubs and restaurants; to all the major attractions including the Royal BC Museum, Fisherman's Wharf, the Parliament Buildings, Dallas Road Beach trails, Odgen Point, Beacon Hill Park and much, much more.

Please note that your stay is offered at a 30-day minimum due to city regulations. If you prefer a shorter stay, we have other private suites available in our main home that can accommodate.

Your Private Garden Retreat includes access to both your own personal deck from your cozy open concept living room and full kitchen, as well as a shared patio with veggie gardens to soak up a good book in the sun and enjoy a good conversation with other travelers if desired.

Experience packages such as meals prepared by a private chef, local tours and spa treatments are offered at an additional investment.

Inside your private 1-bedroom cottage, you will find a king size bed that is beyond comfortable with high quality linens, both plush and memory foam pillows as well as a soft cozy goose down duvet. The comfort continues with thick and fluffy towels and luxurious spa bathrobes.

The full sized kitchen comes equipped with a stove and oven, microwave, full sized fridge, toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker, kettle, and popcorn maker. Also provided, are dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots and pans and other essentials. Coffee, teas, creamers and other basic provisions are also included.

There is also full in-suite laundry facilities to complete your home away from home.

This a pet friendly property and I have two Havanese pups that wander the garden area as well as Maine Coon cats in their own catios. All my animals are very friendly and enjoy having snuggles! If you are thinking of bringing your dog I will need to approve first as not all dogs will work well with my property.

This is a self check-in property with a private entrances (although we are more then happy to assist with any questions you may have) and is ideal for 30-day or longer stays. Ask us about our longer-term stay savings!

There is so much to do from renting bikes to strolling our waterfront or hanging out in Beacon Hill park for the day.

We are steps from the Clipper and Coho ferry so perfect for leaving your car at home.

You can park your vehicle in the driveway and if possible pull in close to the fence and close to the gate as that way I can park my personal vehicle as well.
