The most relaxing, calming place we’ve ever stayed at. Everything provided created just the right atmosphere for a stay in the Daintree. The beautiful vivid colors used set against the rustic timber as well as the huge deck and strategic planting just added to the experience. We felt we were guests in someone’s home. Thanks Darrell

We loved our stay here. It really is a beautiful place and well priced. There is something really magical about waking up to the sound of birdsong in one of the world's oldest rainforests. It was very open and airy (something we don't get a lot of down south!) and quiet. The property is fully off grid so you need to be conscious of how much water and power you use. The kitchen had everything we needed. There are two bedrooms one with a king, the other a queen and there's a single bed next to the kitchen. There were a couple of screens provided to block out the single bed from the kitchen but it is not a separate bedroom. I'm not sure if I read the listing properly or not but we weren't expecting this, in any case it worked out fine for us.The property was a short drive to Cow Bay Beach and centrally located to easily visit most of the tourist attractions, but it was lovely to just relax on the deck. Thanks again :-)

Great location in rainforest

We had a great stay here, the house is awesome and the location feeling like you are amongst the rainforest was amazing. Kids enjoyed the cubby house as well.

Beautiful spot to stay in the Daintree

Bowenia was the perfect spot for our family of 4 to stay and explore the Daintree. The house was great, it had everything we needed and was spotless. It was so lovely to sit out on the deck to relax, share meals and just listen to the sounds of the forest. It was close to lots of walks and lovely beaches. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely breathtaking!

Tropical hideaway

Great place to unwind, relax and enjoy the rainforest. All the necessities available made the stay feel very comfortable. My wife was not keen on nature, but was relaxed on the massive verandah having dinner and reading (a hammock would have been perfect), we thoroughly enjoyed and recommend a stay here.

Beautiful wooden cabin in the rainforest No pool though that was advertised on stayz, but it was not needed as we had ample to do on our 3 night stay
