Dear Heather, I am sorry that Pointes North did not give you that ‘wow’ experience! As you may know, all the rooms here are individually owned and furnished. Some of the suites have attributes that have fallen by the wayside in the fashion department. Thank you for the feedback, we take items like this and use them to improve the guest experience. I will confer with the owners and see what we can do to achieve that. We hope that you will visit us again! Matthew T. Smith General Manager – Pointes North Inn

Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful and detailed review! We’re so glad to hear that you enjoyed the location close to both the beach and downtown, as well as the remodeled touches and updated nautical décor. Having two sofa beds for added flexibility is a great feature, and it’s wonderful to know those updates contributed positively to your stay. We also sincerely appreciate your constructive feedback. We understand how important it is for the bathroom and bedroom areas to feel fresh and comfortable, and your comments about the faucets, knobs, and mattress will be shared with the property owner for consideration in future updates. We’ll also review your notes about the screened porch cleanliness and the smell outside—ensuring our team investigates and resolves those concerns so they don’t impact future guests. Regarding furnishings, your point about the lack of a proper table and chairs is especially helpful, as this kind of detail can greatly improve the experience for families or groups who enjoy gathering for meals, games, or work during their stay. We also recognize your concern about the pool temperature and repairs and will relay this to ensure improvements are made where possible. While we aim to provide exceptional accommodations, we know that value and expectations matter just as much. Your honesty about the balance between price and amenities is incredibly useful as we continue to refine our offerings. We’re thrilled you still had a nice stay overall and enjoyed the beauty of the area, and we hope you’ll consider returning so we can provide an even better experience next time.
