Simple, but what more do you need if you plan on doing beach, dinner, repeat. The hosts are extremely nice and helpful. A/C works well, but keep in mind this was in mid May when temperatures were in the mid to high 80s F every day. We left it off during the day and there were no issues getting the bedroom cool enough in the evenings.

Nice and secluded on chalk sound. Had everything we needed. Bathroom is located inside of the bedroom, if more than a couple be aware. AC units were very nice, bed was comfortable. So nice to wake up a snorkel directly from the location. A couple of small sections that contained coral, anemones and small fish. Ideal location to Taylor beach, Sapodilla and las Brisa’s! We did not rent the kayaks, but they were available for a rental fee. Washer and dryer in the unit was a nice touch!

Patricia is a perfect host and made us feel very welcome. This property is in a quiet secluded area of Chalk Sound and felt very homely the minute you work through the door.All the kitchen equipment is like new and therefore it was easy to make breakfasts and simple dinners, which we enjoyed in the gazebo overlooking the lagoon which is down the staircase. It is all lit up as darkness falls and the amazing view includes a sky full of stars and beautiful sunsets.Swimming in the lagoon is another feature which is accessed via a ladder. It is shallow water most of the time, raising at high tide and then reaches waist high. It is ideal for children if they are good swimmers or under supervision. If you enjoy peace and quiet and don’t mind driving about 20-25 minutes for the beaches like Smith’s Reef or The Bight for snorkelling, then this is perfect. It is also worth noting you have access to local beaches at Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Beaches, which are a 5 minute drive. There is an IGA Graceway Smart in Downtown or you could call at Sunny Foods or the Graceway IGA on a trip to the main area for all your needs.The accommodation is reasonably priced for the facilities provided and this was important to my husband and I, as we are a retired British couple. Please not that the paths could be tricky for anyone who is not so good on their feet. Although I will add that there is lighting at night. Hope this helps in your search for accommodation.

Awesome stay

We spent a few nights here during our trip to TCI. The location is away from the touristy areas, but still only a 15-20min drive to the bars and restaurants near Grace Bay. Chalk Sound is beautiful and the dock offers a peaceful spot to take in the view and access the water. Plenty of other beach options nearby, along with some great restaurants. Hope to visit again soon.

Peaceful, cozy and relaxing

Away from the city town, this was the perfect get away for us. Quiet, the cottage had everything you need, for a cozy stay. The hosts are super lovely. Taylor Beach is magical (our favorite beach on the island) and less than 5 mins from the cottage. Kayaking around the property was so beautiful. We saw a flock of flamingos fly above us while eating breakfast in the gazebo the day before my birthday Definitely recommend one looks into renting a car. We’ll be back!!

Perfect place for 2

This property was perfect for the husband and myself for a week. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival, no issues finding the place at all. You do park right next to the homeowners cars so you are RIGHT NEXT TO their main entrance of the main house too. The owners were gone for the holiday week so i cant comment on if there's any sound transfer issues from the shared walls. Theres a second rental space behind the main house and through our stay I believe we saw 3 different sets of people come and go. We never heard anything from that house or even cars going back & forth down the shared driveway. So over all a pretty quiet property, would definitely rent it again. If I had 1 negative- If youre the type of person that watches tv in the evening the cable was very limited and i believe mostly spanish channels, and Its not smart tvs that you can log into your own subscriptions with. We were constantly on the go so this wasn't a problem for us at all the only night we were in early was because it was Christmas night and lots closed early. Most evenings we were sitting down on the lagoon dock listening to water.
