The Douglas on Third is a small boutique hotel located on the second floor of a beautifully restored 100-year-old building, thoughtfully updated inside and out. As one of the few places to stay on historic Third Street in downtown McMinnville, it offers a truly unique location. The Douglas in owned and run in partnership by the Elmers and the Moens, who have been dear friends since the late 1990's. Back in 2012, the couples decided that they wanted to take on a fun project, and thus the Douglas on Third came about. Meeting new people, introducing them to the town and community they love, and simply being hospitable is something they are all passionate about.

Why they chose this property

The Douglas on Third was completely remodeled in the fall of 2016. While all of its updates give it a modern flare, the qualities of the original Douglas Hotel are ever present. It is a unique and inviting space that will serve as a wonderful home base as you explore McMinnville, OR
