About this property

Beautiful views in a country farm setting

Overlooking the Great Deviding Range and farmland. Peace and quiet in this tranquil 100 acres property. Back block natural bush land with undulating hills. Nature at your doorstep, kangaroos, wallabies including the tiny Pademelons, koalas. Native birds to the area. You may here dingoes (wild dogs) howling in the distance. Friendly lowline Angus cows Comet, Ira, Nugget the bull and Stormy the heifer feeding in the paddocks plus offspring who love a slice of bread. Our friendly minature horses Buddy the stallion, Bell the mare. Our poultry who come down to visit chooks and ducks. Fireplace for those wintery nights. Outdoor fire pit with seating taking in the sky full of glistening stars. Lots of destinations to visit in the Scenic Rim which has been named the 8th best destination in the world. Fresh rain water on tap. Once again views to die for. You have privacy from our house due to distance and trees. No pets are permitted as we have no fences.
Please note shops are a 30 minute drive to Rosewood for groceries, pubs, service station Drs, post office, second hand shops etc. Or Aratula 23 minutes has a pub, bakery and service stations. Traffic is at a minimum.

Please make use of dishwasher as it will steralize dishes and cutlery for next guests, unless only a few items please wash up with hot water and detergent supplied
Please ensure no rubbish left lying around cottage or its grounds
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please keep chairs off walls as it strips the paint. No cottage furniture or linen to be taken out doors. Furniture under cottage is available
No extra loud music but please relax and enjoy the peace and quiet
If carpet is stained and we have to bring in a carpet cleaner it will be at your cost. If you break anything, repairs or replacement is at your cost.

This is a very peaceful and beautiful place to be, no matter how fast life is you quickly unwind as you take in the view, hear only the sounds of nature and enjoy magnificent scenery. Christina is a fantastic host and the 3 bedroom home is very clean, comfortable and inviting.

What a beautiful, serene location to enjoy the peace and beauty of the countryside! Gorgeous views of the ranges, local wildlife including birds and wallabies, along with the resident chooks and ponies made our weekend stay so memorable. The cottage was large, clean and well appointed. The farm was so gorgeous that we did little else but take in the stunning views and explored the surrounding area. Pretty central for checking out the scenic rim also the peace and quite is so relaxing. My children and grandchildren live not close by but around the country areas of Boonah.
