Great place

This place was clean and check in was so easy. We love the mountain lodge location. The listing says fireplace, that is not in the room but there is one in the lodge lobby. We would stay here again.

Convenient Location!

Location was amazing! Just steps to the slopes and yummy restaurants. Be prepared with groceries - the nearest real grocery store is 1.5 hours away.

Great place to stay on the slopes!

Great little condo in a location that's close to everything. Loved walking out the back door of the building and skiing right to the lifts. We traveled with our 2 kids, ages 4 and 7, and it was the perfect amt of space to accommodate all 4 of us. Was nice having free access to the Big Top as well when the kids wanted an indoor break from skiing. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice unit in a very convenient location

Nicely appointed unit. Mountail Lodge is right next to the slopes and Ball Hoooter lift. It is so convenient to be able to ride up the lift and be within yards of the building's entrance. Owner communication was fast. I would stay there again.

Last minute getaway

This was a great property for a last minute getaway with my kids. It snowed all day and the ski conditions were amazing. We were able to ski right to the property and it was very convenient and comfortable. They had a fun movie playing in the lobby which would have been fun If we hadn’t been killing the slopes.

Seamless Rental at Snow shoe Mtn

The property seems older, but was clean and location was terrific. The process through the property manager was seemless. He sent all the information to access the property and made himself available if needed.

Snowshoe Mountain Lodge

Snowshoe is wonderful and we had a great trip. I would not travel there again during a holiday weekend again though, issues with lack of staff, long lines, expensive. We had a good stay but certainly not worth the price; uncomfortable beds, lack of adequate silverware, no complimentary coffee packs, the lowest grade bedding/ linens, no drain screens so tubs backed up etc.

Good location

Our first time to snowshoe. Arrived to find bumper to bumper traffic on the main road and in the parking lot which tacked about 30 minutes on our arrival. Frustrated after long drive to wait on cars unloading (1 at a time) then nearly impossible to find parking space Once we got inside check in was super easy. My rec - Don’t arrive hungry or needing to use the bathroom LOL Then we found our rental. This particular apartment looks out over the front door so there is no view. Also the building is quite dated & although some appliances have been updated in this particular rental the furniture seems worn and it just shows its age. This was not a problem and wouldn’t keep us from staying again. After reading reviews and advice from the owner we brought our own pillows.!! Do this!! The pillows there are covered in plastic & super noisy. The kitchen is tiny but has everything you need for simple cooking. There is no dish soap and only one dish towel. You can buy soap for $2 at the desk. The rental was relatively clean. The dishes were still in the dishwasher when we arrived which was good because the dishes in the cabinets were dirty. The bathroom floors had lots of dark curly hair - my family is all blonde. Otherwise was clean. The location is the best thing about this. Down the hallway and down the stairs out the door to the top of the hill/lift. Probably our biggest complaint was it was nearly impossible to control the heat. There is a thermostat but it didn’t do anything at all. Really the only way to control the temperature was to open the door then close it again then open it again then close it again.. The problem with this is the only window that opens is in the living space -bedrooms are on the opposite end of the unit open to the hall so no real way to get cool air back there. Finally would we stay here again? Yes for sure but I would look at what else is available too. There are lots of great places up there. Communication with/from the owner was fine but I did feel like much of it was asking you not to complain about lift lines or temperature control or other things that they deem “out of their control”. Some of that is fair, but was off putting from the outset to me. I write a lot of reviews, we travel a lot! If you’re looking for a great location this may be your spot.

Great Slopeside Location

Family of 5 had a great stay despite Covid! Location is perfect as you walk out the back of the condo and are directly by the top of the ballhooter lift and can ski/board down several trails. Condo is remodeled and had all needed amenities to cook for ourselves. Please know that housekeeping is understaffed and we had to put sheets on beds. That said condo was clean though we wiped down everything just out of caution. Owner checked in a couple times to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend this condo and Snowshoe Mountain. Thanks for a great stay!

Great unit few steps away from the Ballhooter lift

This is a great unit; clean, spacious and comfortable. It has all the basic supplies and amenities, as well as three flat screen TVs! It was our first time at Snowshoe and the owner was very helpful answering all our questions in a timely manner. A big advantage is the proximity of this unit to the Village. You step out of the building right next to the Ballhooter lift! Restaurants and activities are at a few minutes walking distance. We enjoyed all the unique Summer activities offered by Snowshoe resort along with breathtaking views of the lake and the mountains. Will definitely stay in this unit again, next time for skiing!
