About this property

Old world, farmstyle, selfsufficient, off the grid, quiet and isolated

Nestled between the Tsitsikamma mountains, with mountain walks, fynbos and commercial apple orchards all around, we are only 3 km from the village – Tweeriviere, situated in the Langkloof.
We milk our own cows – by hand – make our own cheese, grow our own veggies and fruit, make butter, bread, country wine, eggs etc. Our place is simple and not manicured; we are off the grid – running on solar panels, cooking on a gas stove, gas geyser, and refrigeration, also gas.
We offer a simple and comfortable sandstone cottage, where you can enjoy the quiet and wake up to the sounds of birds and cocks crowing. For those who love simplicity, unfettered nature, plants and soil, permaculture and trees, I think you will enjoy your stay with us.
