Great place to stay with our adult children. Having the bedrooms separate to living areas was perfect and 2 bathrooms was to everyone's liking. The chalet was equipped with all of the cooking facilities we needed. Location was amazing and so convenient to the ski slopes. Josie our host was very accommodating with our request for an early check-in which we greatly appreciated. Overall a fantastic place to stay, will definitely stay again.
We absolutely loved this place. It was quaint and in a really quite court. Despite being a duplex as most chalets are in Dinner Plain, we didn’t hear a thing from our neighbours. Lovely and clean and just a really easy check in process. Just wish we could’ve stayed even longer! Loved it!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Whilst the location and house itself was good, the facilities were average considering the amount paid. Specifically, there was no/limited basic amenities; no salt/pepper, small amount of coffee satchels, no mop provided, no rubbish bin ties, and the kitchen facilities were very limited for 6 people staying. The kitchen itself was below average in terms of cleanliness, and the oven was filthy - this needed complete cleaning before use. For the price paid and the description we expected (and received in the past) more.
We were very disappointed with our stay and would not recommend this accommodation.Hygiene: The property was poorly maintained. On arrival, bowls, plates, and pans were dirty and burnt—we had to handwash everything before dinner. Flyscreens, skirtings, and bathroom exhaust fans were dusty and moldy, clearly not cleaned since last winter. We even felt blocked noses after some time indoors.Privacy: The blinds in the family bedroom were broken and stuck halfway, leaving us with zero privacy. The neighbor’s window is less than two meters away, which is unacceptable.Amenities: Only one tiny shampoo/body wash pack was provided for four nights for everyone. Compare this with nearby accommodation that provides full bottled toiletries—even for shorter stays—and the difference is glaring.Layout: The bedroom setup was poorly thought out. The small room had a bulky bunk bed with a double on the bottom, forcing us to squeeze in uncomfortably, while the larger room had a single bed below.Lighting: The dining area was dimly lit with just one weak bulb above the table, making it feel dark and outdated.Value for Money: We paid less last year for accommodation on the same street and had a much better experience in cleanliness, facilities, and comfort.Overall, this was one of the most disappointing stays we’ve had in Dinner Plain, and until the owner addresses these issues, I would recommend booking elsewhere.
Hi,Just like to say we enjoyed our stay in your lovely cabin. The board games were great and provided some entertainment even for our older sons.Being a builder in the Albury Wodonga region I just thought I'd mention some items that need maintenance and improving. Both lights in lounge room need replacing. Some window winders don't work and need replacing. Some flyscreens need fixing, large holes as the flyscreen has separated from the frame. Lacking light in the kitchen area, very hard to see when cooking etc. No light on rangehood.Frying pan is long past it's due date. Needs replacing.Toilet roll holder downstairs is loose and the actual holder comes out and falls off. Not sure if this right? There is no light globe in the right hand bedside lamp. The upstairs beds were very wobbly. I tightened a lot of the bolts myself. An additional bolt that I could not reach fell out overnight and my son loosley put it backAlso there was soap provided in bathrooms. Just shampoo satchets.Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Kind regards.
The property was as advertised and clean and tidy for our group of seven, but quite cosy. It was a short drive back to Mt Hotham for a few day's skiing. Beautiful area and would be great for summer hiking and bike rides.

Winter Getaway
When we got there it was all areas of the house were smaller than they looked. There was dirty dishes had been put away for us to use that hadn’t been cleaned properly. The house could have been cleaned better overall. The chair in the main bedroom we found out was broken when I sat on it fell over and hurt my back.
