About this property

ARTNEST GETAWAY Walk to the beach - dog friendly

We are happy to share our special Artnest Getaway (Atnest is my pottery studio in Sydney) centrally located in Ettalong Beach where sun, sand, water, and slow-brow coffee create the perfect combo for a relaxing holiday destination.
Artnest Getaway is a modern 2-bed cottage, quietly positioned at the rear lane with only 10 min walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Brand new, modern interior, private access via an electric gate, and with fully enclosed outdoor area.

Ettalong Beach is a magnet for families wanting to enjoy fishing and swimming. The water is calm and shallow and the eastern bank is a favourite fishing spot.

We hope you fall in love with Ettalong Beach and our Artnest Getaway as much as we did. We have furnished this space for us so if there is anything you feel is missing to make your stay more comfortable please let us know.

The place is perfect for a couple, a couple with a little dog ( as we are!), or a family with older children. Please specify the dog breed in the comments field at the time of booking. Dog bowls are supplied.

Note: Our place is not suitable (safety-wise) for very young children. We do not provide a high chair or cot for babies. Please contact us if you want to discuss this.

Max number of guests: 4.

Respectful small dog owners are welcome. The dog beach is just a few steps away from the cottage. Your puppy can run off-leash for almost 3 km from Ettalong Beach to Umina Surf Life Saving Club.

Bedrooms:
There are 2 bedrooms with built-in wardrobes. The Master bedroom contains a queen-size bed with a super comfy mattress. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. You are welcome to join them together to suit your needs.

Living/Kitchen/Outdoor:
The living/kitchen area has a high ceiling that is open, and modern with a comfortable seating arrangement for watching TV. Internet, Apple TV, free Netflix are included. There is a kitchen island with 4 stools for a quick meal and a covered outdoor setting for 4 if you feel like eating at home.
Our BBQ is great for cooking outdoor.

The small outdoor area is fully closed. If the garden looks thirsty then feel free to give it water while enjoying a glass of wine.

A hidden gem

This home was lovely for our couple days away. Air conditioning was very good and layout of the home was great. Due to our age (80) we found the green couch difficult to get out of. Everything was there that we needed to enjoy our stayOur host added some amazing touches which made us feel very welcome. We loved staying there and would again

Lovely cottage walking distance to shops/beach

Perfect location to shops, beach, cinema we ran out of time for that. Mantra for lunch, golf course for dinner easy to get to Thursday night special. Walking distance from home to Bowling Club. People go exploring we did. Relax out the back at home, cute backyard, lots of art work to look at. Walking so close to everything - for wine - no driving fantastic.

Totally stress free having a little dog.

We loved the quality in everything this place exhibited. From the garage space to kitchen appliances, space saving laundry to the ever important bed linen. The artwork and ceramics were handmade and beautifully displayed around the house. Impeccable in every aspect.

Very Dog Friendly!

House and kitchen is very good quality and well set up with pretty much anything you could think off (even a garlic press!). The yard is very secure for small dogs (our smallest is just over 3kgs and there was nowhere she would be able to get out). The outdoor space is much bigger than shows in the photos so plenty of space for the pups to either run around or relax. Shops and beach are only about a 10 minute walk away so very handy location.

Clean, everything we needed

Very clean property with everything we needed. Accurate listing. Great small fenced yard for dogs (or kids) with no gaps- which is really important to us as we have a really small dog, we didn’t have to worry about her in the yard at all. Good communication- clear instructions on how to get into the property etc.

ARTNEST GETAWAY

The accommodation has very modern - bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms, and even the security system for the gates, great Internet Access - 5G was wonderful to enjoy, fully catered facilities including for dogs, very clean. We also loved the high ceilings great design for a family with two children. Close to shops about 10mins casual walk. The only disadvantage to this great holiday home was access through an unnamed street which was also an unsealed road. I would definitely recommend it to anyone or family with two children and a small dog. Great value for money.
