We had a wonderful stay surrounded by the forest with a beautiful view of the lake. The cabin was clean and well maintained, especially considering its secluded woodland setting. What we loved most was the peaceful atmosphere ,it was incredibly quiet, private, and relaxing.The fireplace made the cabin feel warm and cozy, especially in the evenings. We also really appreciated the lighting around the property, which beautifully illuminated the surrounding forest at night and created a unique, magical atmosphere. It was the perfect place to disconnect, unwind, and enjoy nature.

Excellent place fantastic surroundings.Provided ample firewood!Would return if the home was clean and didn’t smell of stale cigarette smoke. Need to have a vacuum cleaner that works. Blankets, couches and rugs need a wash. Some towels smelt of massage oil.

Thank you for the feedback. It is always unfortunate to receive this after guests stay, instead of while they are there. As detailed in the pre stay information we are more than willing to assist guests with any issues they discover during their stay. No such attempt for help was received. Nonetheless, everything raised has been addressed, despite no issues previously being identified. Notably, however, the smoke smell was investigated. This was related to smoke from the wood heater, where the door was left open whilst the fire was initially lit by guests. The smoke draw was partially obstructed and the wood heater fire box needed a clean, including the chimney flue.
