Fantastic! Kristy was a pleasure to work with and her townhome was immaculate - perfect for our family of 6. The views are breathtaking and the walk to the ocean is just magical. We saw a harbor seal, a whale, several deer, and even an entire herd of elk walk right by the house. We would return in a heartbeat!

Our favorite part of this house was the trail that we were able to use to walk down to the beach. It was absolutely beautiful! Thr beach area was amazing. The house was clean and family friendly. The kids loved staying here. We had everything we needed in this house and more.

The house was spacious, comfortable, immaculate and extremely well-appointed. From small appliances to marshmallow-roasting skewers it truly had everything we needed. The beds were all comfortable with plenty of extra pillows/blankets and sheets which we didn’t need but I always appreciate. In addition to a gorgeous view, the house is situated in a very quiet area. There’s a sweet walk through some wetlands to the beach which brings you to a blissfully quiet stretch of beach.

This was an absolutely beautiful home and the owners were incredibly gracious hosts. We would highly recommend this property if you are planning on visiting Oregon beaches. It was spotless and had a bounty of entertaining amenities.

The house was immaculate and so cozy. The location was great — 10 minutes to the beach and conveniently near Neskowin Provisions for coffee, breakfast, and bites. The quality toys and games in the home were a delightful touch. Hosts were proactive and welcoming. We will be staying again!

Fantastic beach home

Our family loved our Thanksgiving stay at Heron’s Rest. The home was clean and well equipped, with great ocean views. We loved the trail to the beach, enjoying the time in nature. The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with.

This place was amazing. As other reviewers said, the pictures don't do it justice. The view of the ocean was gorgeous, the 15 min walk down to the private beach was picturesque, and we'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Loved it!

Amazing home, amazing owners

This house was the perfect place for our family to stay. It was super clean, updated, and we could live there comfortably without bringing a bunch of our own stuff that most rentals are usually missing. The owners were so responsive and helpful, they definitely went above and beyond. The community is so cute with walking trails down to a basically private beach. We were literally the only people on the beach as far as the eye could see.

This was an amazing house for our family! Beautiful location and views! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return! The house was better equipped than my own home! We lacked for nothing! My grandchildren loved the beach toys and we all loved the trail walk to the beach! We also loved the town of Neskowin! We can’t wait to get back there! Beautiful, clean, and very comfortable!

We booked this property for a girls getaway and it was perfect! Very well apportioned throughout the home. Kitchen items were plentiful and high quality. The walk to the beach was lovely and just the right distance. The view of Proposal Rock out the living room and main floor bedroom are breathtaking. Communication with the owner was easy and timely. As listed, this propery truly is a ‘gem’!

A true gem in Neskowin.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful. The bedrooms were very spacious. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were nice. Kitchen was well equipped, and living room was comfortable with beautiful view of the ocean. Downstairs was a bonus with extra living space. Outside patio was the highlight with gas firepit, and gorgeous views of the valley and ocean below. A private walkway to the beach provides a 15 minute walk to the beach across wetlands with stunning views of wildlife and vegetation. Beach was nearly private, but an enjoyable walk to Neskowin. This is truly a gem.

Perfect in Every Way!

This house is beautiful, clean, and very well stocked (griddle, air fryer, condiments in the fridge, hot chocolate mix, spices, flour and sugar, and sand toys and camp chairs for the beach). We loved “our” beach with plenty of soft sand and lots of majestic wave action. The 15 minute walk through the nature preserve includes benches and a tree swing along the way. (Hang a towel on the stick marking the path so you can find your way easily when it’s time to leave the beach.) The rabbits in the backyard entertained everyone and we loved seeing deer in the evening. Kristy, the host, was prompt and cheerful every time we reached with questions. We want to stay here again!

Perfect New Years beach weekend

We came to this lovely house for New Years with our multi-generational family of 6. It could not have been more perfect for us. The house was tastefully decorated for the holidays and gave off a warm, sparkly clean feeling. The kitchen was stocked perfectly with everything in excellent condition and a well stocked pantry. The accommodations were super comfortable and luxurious. We love the short trail to the beach which crosses a beautiful wetlands that is magical on its own. It is one of my top favorite homes that we have stayed at along the Oregon coast. The owner reached out to us before our stay and was so easy to communicate with. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Would give more stars if I could.

We have been coming here for 4 years with our multi-generational family and plan to keep coming back. It is an exquisite property situated in one of the most gorgeous locations along the Oregon Coast. The property is very private, quiet, and the views and overall layout create an extremely comfortable, stunning, and peaceful living space. The kitchen pantry is well stocked and you have all the kitchen utensils you need for high quality meal prep. The beds are excellent, the rooms spacious. We just can’t say enough about how much we love this place. The northern and southern trails to the beach are delightful, the southern traverses a lovely wetland via a beautifully constructed bridge and well tended boardwalks. The Neskowin beach spans from the ghost forest to south to the Nestucca river to the north, along which we have seen some of the best wildlife of all the coast (seals, sea lions, whales, eagles, even a beaver once!). We are a hiking family and love to wander around Cascade Head, God’s thumb, Cape Kiwanda, and Proposal rock.Kristy is an exceptional host, goes above and beyond to provide support/help/answer questions, always responds quickly and graciously to our every need. She makes you feel incredibly cared for. I can’t wait to be back!

Cleanest, most beautiful house, w the most beautiful VIEW

There is no possible way any picture of this place will ever do it justice! The interior is spotless and so amazingly decorated. The floor plan is perfect for a family. But real talk, the view still manages to steal the show! You look south into Neskowin and can see Proposal Rock in the distance from the living room, patio, master bedroom and one of the upstairs rooms. We loved the basement area which was great for our kids (chess, enormous TV with any streaming service you can imagine, etc.) and the propane fire pit just outside the basement doors. Having the garage was a huge plus too, as was the hose located next to the front door after some sandy trips to the beach (about a 10 minute walk though beautifulness). It's also a quick drive to Neskowin, Cascade Head hike (DO. IT.), and Pacific City. We also went to Tillamook (40 min) and some spots on the Netarts Bay on the home (if you do oysters, go to Nevor. $14 for the freshest dozen you'll ever have). We couldn't have been happier.
