Long awaited getaway

The home was very neat and very open and roomy. We were graced with an eatly check in by the property owner. The house is just minutes from your next float at the Guadeloupe River. We loved the shuffleboard table, and pool table. We had a blast and look forward to doing it again.

River trip with friends

The home is exactly as pictured. Nicely decorated but definitely missing some things. Kitchen was not stocked at all. A hand full of glasses and plates but that’s about it. We were only provided 3 toilet paper rolls and 2 paper towel rolls for 9 adults on a 3 night stay. When we asked for more we were denied. We also ran out of trash bags and had to buy more of them in order to leave the house picked up as requested. Communication could definitely use improvement. Pool table sticks are bent and the table is about the lowest quality you can get. The back yard is nice to have but if you are taking a small dog be aware of the gaps where the fence meets up to the house on either side as my small dog was able to slip out with no problem at all and the back gate does not shut properly and we had to prop it closed with sticks. All in all, I’d say maybe a little over priced for what you get (especially in paper products, come on, those are cheep, why be so stingy?) but a nice place to stay.

Great cabin for a family!

Especially with babies! They had tons of room to play. Of course the big kids could play too! Cornhole, shuffleboard and pool! Plus music and TV and beverages! Plus we played board games! Was a great respite from the wedding festivities across the street at the venue! And Granny D’s was a 2 minute ride! We did experience check in issues so get your code early and make sure it’s four digits! Evolve sent us a ten digit code and we couldn’t get in! But once we did, it was awesome!

Nice getaway for the family

We enjoyed staying at this property. The couch is huge and very comfortable. The pool table and other games were fun. It was too hot to be outside while we were there; that is not the property's fault. There were some minor things that need repair, but a small number, well below what I expect from my experience with such rentals. I would be happy to provide details on request. In terms of location, it is as advertised. You could walk to the river, but it is about a mile, unless you cut through other properties. It is a short drive to the beaches on Canyon Lake. So the location is good, but not a lake view location. More of a dam view, actually. Overall, we liked this place.

My husband and I needed a place because we were expanding our business to Texas. It was comfortable and perfect! So cute too! I would highly recommend staying here. I can only imagine how awesome it would be for tubing the Guadalupe River in the summer.
