Welcome to Piccolo Retreat! A serene three‑bedroom escape with breathtaking mountain and National Park views. The property is in a peaceful location, overlooking neighbouring farmland and visiting wildlife. Designed for relaxation, connection and comfort, this stylish home blends nature’s beauty with contemporary indulgence — perfect for families, couples, or groups of up to six.

Located in the heart of the Grampians National Park, just a few minute drive from town and Halls Gap Zoo, as well as a short walk to the Halls Gap Hotel or coffee/chocolate shop at Kerrie's Kreations. Piccolo Retreat offers the ideal base for exploring the Grampians while enjoying complete tranquillity. 



The Space 

Step inside and feel instantly at ease. There is modern comforts throughout including air-conditioning in every bedroom. The open‑plan kitchen and dining area are designed for slow mornings, shared meals, and admiring the mountain backdrop. Watch kangaroos graze in the distance as you prepare breakfast, or enjoy a sunset drink outdoors by the fire. 

The kitchen is fully equipped with walk-in pantry, Nespresso coffee machine (complimentary tea/coffee provided). The kitchen has a dishwasher, electric stove top.

The cosy living room invites you to unwind with a wood‑burning fireplace, plush lounge, and a TV (with WiFi, Apple TV & Netflix access) — perfect for cosy nights in.

Each of the three bedrooms features built‑in robes and its own reverse‑cycle air‑conditioner for year‑round comfort. The master bedroom includes an ensuite and walk‑in robe, while the main bathroom offers a walk‑in shower, bathtub, and separate toilet. A '4Baby Liteway' Travel cot is also kept at the house for guest use, please bring your own cot bedding.

The house is perfect for families with a travel cot, games/toys and a professional half-court basketball area. 

A washer/dryer combo is available in the laundry for added convenience.

Outside, the property has plenty of space for kids to run around or play basketball. There is an outdoor firepit area with seating. Piccolo Retreat is an experience.

Firewood & Fire Supplies

From April to September, we provide a starter supply of firewood for the indoor fireplace. Guests may need to purchase additional firewood, kindling, or firelighters — available locally at the Halls Gap service station or general store. For the outdoor firepit, please bring or buy your own wood.Other things to noteThe gas BBQ is available for guest use and must be cleaned after use, as BBQ cleaning is not included in the cleaning fee. We cannot guarantee a full gas bottle, but if you need to swap it, we will happily reimburse you.
