COME INSIDE THE HOME:
BNB Made Easy is a professional short-term rental property management company, so rest assured your stay at Peel House will be professionally managed, thoughtfully prepared, and easy to settle into. The two-storey layout is one of this home's most distinctive features — exposed timber beams and a pitched roofline give the upper level a character that's hard to find in a short-stay property. The undercover entertaining area and BBQ are well set up for an evening in, and the two living areas give larger groups plenty of room to settle at their own pace. All three bedrooms are well-appointed and comfortable, with the study nook offering a practical extra sleeping space when needed.
THE LOCATION:
Peel House is on the southern edge of Bathurst's CBD, within easy walking distance of the city centre. The Dudley Hotel — 450 metres away — serves up meals in a recently refurbished family-friendly bistro. Brilliant Street Cafe is 700 metres away on the Mitchell Highway, known for its Allpress coffee and loyal local following. Crema on George and Sweet Caramel are both a short walk into the CBD. Machattie Park, a heritage Victorian park with gardens, a duck pond and an ornate water fountain, is just around the corner. Within three blocks you'll also find the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum and Armada Shopping Centre.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home for the duration of their stay.
The Neighborhood:
Bathurst is located on the banks of the Macquarie River — a vibrant country city with rich cultural heritage, recognised as a centre of learning. Heritage-listed buildings and rich history fuse with world-class museums and galleries. Spectacular natural wonders co-exist with a modern cultural landscape. The food scene is innovative and signature events are of an international standard.
Getting Around:
Walk, car, Uber, taxi, bus.
Other Things to Note:
- STAIRS: This is a two-storey home — guests will need to navigate stairs during their stay.
- BACKYARD: Please note the backyard is not enclosed. The front yard can be secured by keeping the driveway gate closed.
Interaction with Guests:
I plan to give my guests space but am available when needed.

We have rented this property before and knew it would be perfect for our latest getaway. Close to everything, comfy beds, warmth!!, lots of parking space. Two bathrooms including a laundry is great for longer stays. We will be back when we travel south again.

Thankyou so much for your kind review Stacey, I am glad you had a nice stay!
We were in town for the GT Nationals, with extended family. The house suited our needs perfectly - with two bathrooms & two living areas their was plenty of space for everyone. The house is in a great location, we were easily able to walk to the pub for tea and my teenage son was able to walk to the gym.
The double lockup garage was also perfect as we had cars with us for the Nationals.
Comfortable and spacious, except the bathroom upstairs is slippery and showering in bathtub is dangerous. Stairway does not have something to hold onto considering our ages, myself is in 80 and my sister is in 70.

Thankyou so much for taking the time to leave us this review, we really appreciate your feedback. We are very transparent in our listing description and photos with what is in the property including floorplans. I'm very sorry that you found the bathroom area slippery, there is a non-slip mat in the bathtub and the downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We would love to welcome you back again. 😊
