We love it here!

Our family had a perfect Mother’s Day weekend staying here! Plenty of room, well stocked, great view. We loved it! Even with boardwalk under construction the front desk is on top of shuttle when needed. We will definitely be back.

Barbara, the owner, and Denise, our contact during the stay, were both amazing to chat with. Thank you! The home is wonderful. There is everything there, including beach towels, coffee, and simple kitchen spices and oil! The proximity to the beach can’t be beaten. It’s such a convenient place to stay for a relaxing getaway! The condo unit was super clean and had so many places to hang wet towels and suits, making everything feel well thought out and comfortable. We will be back! Thank you.

Great Condo

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo! The kitchen was well stocked and we were impressed with all the supplies on hand. The unit was spacious and worked well for our family of 5. The location is great and the view is lovely. We have stayed at a lot of places in Port A and this is by far our favorite! We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Beach Stay

We really enjoyed our time staying in this condo, it was clean and well stocked. It's so nice to stay in a place that provides some basics like coffee, spices, foil, plastic wrap, sand toys etc. We typically avoid condo's because of noise from surrounding apartments but had no issues here. The hot tub was not working during our stay which was disappointing but my kids enjoyed the pool and we spent a lot of time on the beach which is an easy walk - even with the boardwalk construction.

This unit was very comfortable and well stocked! Great views of the beach and the pool! Really enjoyed the patio which stayed nice and shady at all parts of the day! We needed a few supplies and we were taken care of immediately. And the place was clean! We loved the close proximity to the beach and town and had a great weekend!

Family Beach with Little Grands

We brought our grandchildren and daughters down for a little beach trip. Our first time to Port Aransas almost 20 years. Condo 205 was a great place for all of us. There was enough room for the adults and the kids. The condo was clean, bright, well appointed, easy access to the beach and as described on the listing. Barbara, the owner was great to work with. We would definitely stay here again with our family and encourage anyone else we know heading down here that this is a great place to rent.

Our June 2025 Aransas Princess Trip

It was overall a great stocked and very nice unit, except, it could have been cleaner. We all loved the unit, but the kitchen was not the cleanest unit we have stayed at, and the middle bathtub did not drain well!

Beach Weekend

This place had a great ocean and pool view. We could hear the ocean waves and the patio seemed to stay shaded at all times of the day which was a big plus in this heat! It was very comfortable and so nice to have 3 bathrooms! The kitchen was well stocked and easy trash access with a chute right across the hall. Close to the beach and close to town made for an enjoyable weekend!

Love, love love

We loved our stay! Location was perfect and the kitchen had everything, including spices. This was the first time in a very long time where beach towels were available in the condo…I’ve become so used to bringing my own. The owner, Barbara, was so sweet! She gave us a discount prior to arriving because construction was scheduled to start close to the condo and she thought the noise might be disruptive. But turned out the construction was delayed and all was peaceful. Thank you we will definitely stay here again

Anniversary Celebration

We had a wonderful time! I have never stayed in such a well appointed condo/house. It was like staying in someone’s home and I guess it was. The pictures were accurate. The reviews I read were true as well. The linens were wonderful, the place was spotless, and the staff were very accommodating. The noise from construction was a little bothersome, but we managed to tune it out, and couldn’t hear it from inside. All in all, it was fabulous. We hated to leave and can’t wait to get back.

Booking process was easy. Contacting Evolve customer support is faster via phone than email. They were able to action a booking change/request quickly. Owner also reached out before arrival. This is a beautiful unit with amazing views and walking distance to a convenience store and the beach; short drive to Port Aransas. The kitchen comes fully stocked with everything needed to cook, except the food ;- ) Plenty of coffee provided - much appreciated!! Sufficient supply of toilet paper and paper towels. Enough cleaning supplies to last our entire stay. Bath towels plus beach/pool towels were plenty and the washer and dryer a big plus. Water pressure is great and hot water lasts about two showers and heats up quickly again. Board games was great for family time; TVs in all rooms and Wi-Fi. Enough blankets around to keep everyone comfortable. Master bedroom does not offer much privacy (sound wise) with a thin sliding door separating it from the living room. Bunkbed room is closed off with curtains. Loved the clean, heated pool (around 70F) and hot tub. Building staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the construction on both sides of the unit prevented us from enjoying the apartment during the day and using the balcony with the workers right there, drilling, hammering and lots of dust/dirt. We swept the balcony on Friday night and was able to enjoy it Saturday and Sunday morning. Parking available and no concerns for safety during our stay. Would definitely recommend this unit.

Perfect last summer week before a new school year

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Counting Pelicans. The condo was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and well stocked with kitchen and bath supplies as well as games for everyone. The boardwalk was a quick and easy way to access the beach by foot. There are also several golf cart rental places just a few blocks away. Our family enjoyed slow mornings, beach days, and games nights every night! It was the perfect place to wrap up summer break for our kids.

Two day getaway beach trip

Excellent place. Home away from home. Condo had everything you would need. Description is so true and accurate! I am a very picky person and looked through many places before I found this one and I knew immediately, this was the place to book. Great location, clean facilities, perfect pools, great spot on beach with no vehicles allowed, makes it a safe spot to be on the beach. Excellent view from balcony. Would recommend to everyone and would book this place again. Very clean and beautiful inside condo.

Fabulous Beachfront Stay

The condo was absolutely perfect. What a fantastic view of ocean and pool! Beautiful interior and decor. Very nice, light and bright and well appointed. We enjoyed the balcony over the pool and gulf views. The kids enjoyed the bunk room. The unit was very clean and well equipped with everything one would need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Direct access to the beach from the property’s boardwalk is great. Just watch for cars and carts when crossing from the property to the beach. We used a fold up wagon to transport chairs, umbrellas and beach toys, which was a little tricky getting up and down the stairs. The showers out at the boardwalk were great for hosing off sand and beach toys. A bit of construction and improvements being made on the property and at one of the pool areas. Again, what a wonderful stay. It wouldn’t have been the same without the opportunity to stay in this fabulous condo Thank you so much!

Worth Every Penny!

We walked into a beautifully decorated and very clean home. The views off the balcony are great as you can see the ocean as well as a gorgeous pool. The owners have thought of every convenience for a guest to stay. Tvs in every bedroom, towels, shampoo, soap, w/d, kitchen supplies, and coffee maker. They do everything to make your stay easy and convenient so you can enjoy 2 pools or a short walk to the beach. Highly recommend this condo.
