The property was outstanding and is located in a perfect central spot to visit wineries and to do sightseeing. Margaret River is simply amazing and it was wonderful to come home to this property to relax at the end of each day.
We absolutely loved our stay at Trinder! The house was set up with everything you need for a comfortable stay, plus more. The addition of the kids section in the garage was a huge hit with our young ones. Great location- close to town, very comfortable beds. We had a fantastic stay!
Had a great time. Amazed seeing rabbit and kangaroos in the garden. So much space and so quiet. The outside bath was nice. The place had everything we needed. Thank you had a great time.
From a family from 2 years to 70 years old, this suited all ages. From the beautiful building to the yard it accommodated all.
The only thing I would request is for more fresh linen if staying for longer than the night.
Beautiful overall
Had a ball at this beautiful property in a beautiful location. Weather was great but if it was hotter, thinking the bedrooms would be a bit stuffy for sleeping. AC in main living area only.
We were a family of eleven, so used both the main house and the cottage. Everyone was really impressed with the abundance of room, cleanliness and facilities. The location was also a good jumping off point for the attractions of the Margaret River area. I would highly recommend and would have no hesitation on staying at Trinder Retreat again.
Beautiful home in a fabulous location.Unfortunately it was booked at a very busy time and some of the cleaning was a bit lacking, bin juice at the bottom of the bin, dishes put away dirty. It was also quite close to the speed way which we didn't know was on for two of the nights of our 4 night stay. I would have preferred that the booking agent had let us know this as it was very noisy. The baths outside were wonderful and used every day. The hot water was plentiful and instant which is ideal for a large group.
The house was clean and spacious, well stocked kitchen, beds were comfortable (although pillows quite flat). The location is great being only 5ish mins into Margaret River and 10 mins to the beach. The main living space/kitchen dining was generous and well laid out. Negatives - the tiled floor is very slippery if wet, the slope on the upstairs ensuite is low so need to watch your head.
The property managers were excellent to deal with, however the property was not us to scratch and the owners were less than generous in offering us a reduction in price given the condition of the house on day 1.
The main bed in the main bedroom was broken and could not be slept on. The toilet seat in the ensuite bathroom was cracked and could not be sat on. The heating in the dinning, lounge and kitchen did not work.
The property managers worked hard to fix these and we had tradesman on site for the first 24 hours, however we had hoped for a quiet restful first day and we did not get that.
Property is well situated between Margaret River town and Prevelly Beach and has all the facilities you need for a great stay. Plenty of room and several large dining spaces inside and outside. Great kitchen
